The Böttner family lives with their daughter Amelie in the middle of the countryside in the Bergisches Land near the city of Cologne. You have a previously unused hillside garden that is to be created for between 5 and 7,000 euros. The area had already been leveled before Stefan Schatz and Frank Riese arrived. Both garden professionals look at the property together.

In Kalkar on the Lower Rhine, a new challenge awaits the two garden professionals Stefan Schatz and Frank Riese. Meta and Wolfgang Schneider are both 65 years old and have lived in their house since the 1980s. For their new phase of life, they now want an easy-care, representative front garden with a new staircase, a seating area and a privacy screen.

Today's “Duel of the Garden Professionals” will take place in Cologne at the Schlag family. The young couple lives in a terraced house with their two-year-old daughter Felicitas. They extensively renovated their home when they moved in a year ago. But they are quite overwhelmed with their garden: wild growth as far as the eye can see and trees that are far too big and block out the light.

14 years ago, the Thomanek family moved into their home in Hürth, just outside the city of Cologne. Frank, his wife Carola and their two daughters Lina and Maya feel very comfortable here, but there is still room for improvement in their garden. Since the family enjoys vacationing in Mallorca, they want a bit of Mediterranean flair in their own home.

The fourth duel between the garden professionals will take place in the south of Cologne. The Jansen family has lived here for five years. Her garden is the smallest in the neighborhood and so far it mainly consists of lawn, which the children mostly use to play. But adults are slowly starting to want more space in the garden again. They want a barbecue area, a stone path in front of the terrace and raised beds.

In the third episode, the two landscape gardeners Frank Riese and Stefan Schatz fight for the Rick family's contract in Widdersdorf. Silvia is a single parent and she doesn't have the time to redesign the garden. The Rick family's mission: colorful beds, less green and plenty of water for bathing.

The second “Duel of the Garden Professionals” will take place in Cologne Vingst. The order from the Nicklisch-Mönninghoff family awaits the two landscape gardeners Frank Riese and Stefan Schatz here. They bought their house two years ago primarily because of the large garden, but they urgently need help from a professional to redesign it.

The first episode takes the landscape gardeners Frank Riese and Stefan Schatz to Hennef in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Manz family, consisting of mother Isabell, father Volker and little Oscar, remodeled their house last year, but the overgrown garden was neglected. This should now be redesigned. The family also wants a nice terrace and privacy from the neighbors.
