Trailer Synopsis

The Clinic is a multi award-winning Irish primetime television medical drama series produced by Parallel Film Productions for RTÉ. It debuted on RTÉ One in 2003 to positive reviews and proved to be one of the network's most popular shows. The drama ran for seven seasons between September 2003 to November 2007. The last ever episode aired on RTÉ One on Sunday 15 November 2009 and on YLE1 in Finland on Wednesday 25 November 2009. The complete series of The Clinic was released on DVD in November 2010 by RTÉ.

Alex is shaken when he bumps into an old friend at a club, who calls him Chris. Alex tells the guy to get lost claiming he doesn't know who he is and walks off with Sam in tow. Alex and Sam argue later at home. Sam thinks Alex has been picking up other men calling himself by a different name.

Dan is terrified when he realises he could be caught out for dating both Cathy and Sinéad and tries to find a way to prevent them meeting. Dan is thwarted when Sinéad meets Cathy. He tries to talk his way out of it by telling Cathy it was her idea to have a no strings attached relationship and as soon as they started to get serious he finished with Sinéad.

Daisy has fallen hook, line and sinker for Will, along with his drinking, drugs and fast living. They spend the night together in Cathy's flat. Will refuses to get up and come to work the next day, much to Daisy's dismay.

His daughter Flossie is devastated when she discovers that she could have the Huntington's gene. Trying to pretend that everything is okay and not accepting help has not worked, Richard finally comes to the realisation that he has to face up to his wife's illness.

Paul turns up at the Clinic asking Keelin to build bridges with a pregnant Kathleen, she is sceptical at first but is delighted when she arranges dinner with Kathleen. Keelin is furious to learn that Cathy has been referring patients to other physiotherapists.

Patrick is lonely and everything around him is further illustrating how alone he is. Through a chance encounter with an old acquaintance, he learns that his ex-wife Lisa is in town. They arrange to meet. Lisa hasn't seen him sober in a long time and is surprised by this new man. They get on great, the sparks are flying and their relationship takes a new turn.

Brendan's inheritance of his Nan's house worth 2.75 million euro has just become official. The other staff in The Clinic question Brendan on what he would like to do with this money. Brendan is happy with his life and has no intention of selling his beloved Nan's house. Everybody has an ambition except for him and he tries to live his ambition through Clodagh.

Fiona is deeply missing Ed and thinks that The Clinic is falling apart without him. In her attempts to save The Clinic she only manages to make matters worse. Cathy too is feeling the aftermath of Ed's departure and is unable to cope with the daily business.

The show revolved around the professional and personal lives of those who work at the Family Options Fertility Clinic. The clinic is run by its co-founders along with their new partner. The staff includes an attorney, a nurse, office manager and a medical technician. The series was created by Oliver Goldstick and Marco Pennette. Goldstick and Pennette also serve as executive producers as do Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin. The show was a Touchstone Television and Tollin/Robbins production. It was one of the few shows produced by the former not to air on ABC in recent years. Only two episodes aired before the series was canceled.

Medical Investigation was an American medical drama television series that began September 9, 2004, on NBC. It ran for 20 one-hour episodes before being cancelled in 2005. The series was co-produced by Paramount Network Television and NBC Universal Television Studio The former controls North American distribution rights, while the latter distributes outside North America. The series featured the cases of an elite team of medical experts of the National Institutes of Health who investigate unusual public-health crises, such as sudden outbreaks of serious and mysterious diseases. In actuality, medical investigative duties in the United States are normally the responsibility of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health departments, while the NIH is primarily a disease-research and -theory organization. The series existed in the same television universe as Third Watch and, by extension ER. A special two-part crossover event aired on February 18, 2005, establishing the television-universe connection by featuring the Third Watch and Medical Investigation teams working together in MI's Episode 17: "Half Life" and Third Watch's Episode 16 of the sixth season: "In the Family Way". The story was about a series of Marburg virus cases in New York.
