Synopsis
Mein Leben & Ich is a German situation comedy produced by Sony Pictures in association with RTL Television for RTL. The series was created by Paula A. Roth and loosely based on ABC's 1994 teen drama My So-Called Life. The series focuses on the life of student Alex Degenhardt, who deals with everyday life and sometimes frustrating friends, Claudia and Niko, as well as her family; her little brother Basti and her Hippie-parents Hendrik and Anke. A sixth Season was produced in 2006 but not shown until late 2009. It is also telecast in Finland by Nelonen, in France and in Spain.
Episode 9 : Eine verhängnisvolle Affäre

Durch einen Zufall beobachtet Claudia unbemerkt ein Treffen von Alex' Vater Hendrik mit einer unbekannten attraktiven jungen Frau in einem Restaurant. Alex wehrt sich gegen jeden Verdacht - immerhin sind ihre Eltern das glücklichste Paar, dass sie kennt. Aber Claudia ist felsenfest davon überzeugt, dass Hendrik eine Affäre hat, und verleitet Alex dazu, Indizien für Hendriks Fremdgehen zu suchen. Auch Freund Niko, selbst schwer verknallt in die neue Musikreferendarin Frau Ohl, hat Erfahrungen mit elterlicher Untreue und bestärkt Claudias Verdacht. Mit Erfolg. Alex wird immer misstrauischer.
Episode 8 : Eisen macht glücklich

Claudia hat keinerlei Verständnis dafür, dass ihre 'beste Freundin' Alex so gar keinen Ehrgeiz im Sportunterricht entwickeln will. Um ihrer Freundin auf die Sprünge zu helfen, lässt sie sich etwas einfallen: Sie tauscht vor dem Wettbewerb im Kugelstoßen Alex' Kugel gegen eine leichtere aus, damit Alex endlich einmal ein Erfolgserlebnis hat. Der Trick funktioniert: Alex stößt die Kugel weiter als alle ihre Mitschüler. Nun muss sie sich aber mit dem Spott, ein Muskelprotz zu sein, herumschlagen. Und es kommt noch schlimmer: Die dicke Britta, die von allen Schülern verachtet wird, will Alex unbedingt in die Kugelstoßmannschaft der Schule holen - deren einziges Mitglied Britta bisher ist. Und dann dreht Niko auch noch einen Videofilm in der Schule und macht Alex zum Star der Reportage. Dabei ist für Alex nichts unangenehmer, als im Mittelpunkt zu stehen...
Episode 7 : Der erste Kuss

Marcel kündigt seinen Besuch in Köln an. 'Welcher Marcel?' Alex gibt vor, sich nicht an ihren Urlaubsflirt des letzten Jahres zu erinnern. Aber Anke meint, ihre Tochter zu durchschauen und sorgt dafür, dass Alex am Nachmittag, an dem Marcel ankommt, sturmfreie Bude hat. Nun will aber Alex auf gar keinen Fall Marcel wiedersehen - geschweige denn, mit ihm alleine sein - schließlich hat sie alles andere als gute Erinnerungen an ihren 'ersten Kuss'. Wie praktisch, dass Alex von ihrem Musiklehrer Brandt, dem sie einen Streich gespielt hat, ein Termin beim Schulpsychologen Dr. Friedemann verordnet wurde. Lieber eine Stunde beim Seelenklempner als ein Date mit Marcel! Dummerweise kommt der jedoch früher als verabredet, und Alex landet statt auf der Couch im Wohnzimmerschrank, wo sie sich versteckt, um Marcel nicht zu begegnen. Da hilft nur eins: Claudia muss helfen. Aber die macht alles nur noch schlimmer.
Episode 6 : Der Babyschreck

Auf dieses Wochenende hat sich Alex seit langem gefreut: Ihre Eltern wollen auf ein Revivalkonzert von BAP, ihr Bruder Sebastian ist zu einem Geburtstagsfest eingeladen, und ihrer Freundin Claudia hat Alex kurzerhand Besuchsverbot erteilt. Sie will endlich das Badezimmer zur Dunkelkammer umfunktionieren und in aller Ruhe ihre heißgeliebten Fotos entwickeln. Doch nun droht der gemütliche Abend zu platzen. Ankes Freundin Gitte, die unbedingt mit auf das Konzert gehen will, hat keinen Babysitter gefunden. Widerwillig lässt sich Alex darauf ein, auf Gittes Baby aufzupassen und ist froh, als Claudia allen Verboten zum Trotz hereinschneit. Um ihren Abend doch noch in der Dunkelkammer genießen zu können, verdonnert Alex Claudia zum Babysitten.
Episode 5 : Der Schnappschuss

Alex' Deutschlehrerin Frau Ehlert gibt ihren Schülern die Aufgabe, ihr Lieblingsgedicht 'An das Leben' künstlerisch zu interpretieren. Natürlich entscheidet sich Alex - als begeisterte Fotografin - eine Fotoserie zu diesem Thema zu machen. Der Haken an der Sache: Teamarbeit ist bei dem Projekt erlaubt, und so hängt sich Claudia hartnäckig an Alex' Fersen. Als Alex bei strömendem Regen im Park so unerbauliche Motive wie Mülleimer und eine tote Ratte fotografiert, protestiert Claudia gegen diese doch sehr spezielle Interpretation des 'Lebens' und legt sich mit Alex an. Als Alex auf Claudias eigentlich ironisch gemeinte Frage, ob es nicht noch schlimmere Fotomotive gäbe, mit 'Doch, dich!' antwortet, wendet sich Claudia tief verletzt ab und beschließt, den Kontakt zu ihrer 'besten Freundin' abzubrechen. Ein Leben ohne Claudia ist für Alex, die ja eigentlich am liebsten alleine ist, aber gar nicht so leicht zu ertragen.
Episode 4 : Villa Massimo

Alex' Eltern feiern ihren Hochzeitstag und pflegen die Tradition, daraus einen 'harmonischen Familienabend' zu machen, bei dem sich - auch das ist Tradition - Alex und ihr Bruder Sebastian gnadenlos langweilen. Alex will deshalb den Abend so richtig aufmischen und lädt ihre Freundin Claudia und Mitschüler Niko zum trauten Beisammensein ein. Zunächst läuft alles wie erwartet: Anke und Hendrik sind schnell von Claudias nicht enden wollendem Geplapper genervt. Dummerweise kommen sie jedoch auf die Idee, das Treffen zu einem Spieleabend umzufunktionieren. Gesagt, getan. Das Monopolybrett wird hervorgekramt und Claudias neugierige Fragen, warum denn die Schlossallee zur 'Villa Massimo' umgetauft wurde, werden von Anke und Hendrik gekonnt ignoriert. Das Spiel endet im Desaster, als Hendrik die 'Villa Massimo' alias 'Schlossallee' gegen den Willen seiner Frau verkauft - Mutter Anke ist außer sich.
Episode 3 : Die Liste

Claudia führt seit Jahren eine Liste, in der sie bedeutende Momente in ihrem Leben akribisch vorbereitet und genau festlegt, wann sie zum Beispiel ihren ersten BH kaufen oder das erste Mal eine Nacht durchmachen will. Auch ihren 16. Geburtstag bereitet sie gründlich vor: Schon als kleines Mädchen war für Claudia klar, dass ihre'beste Freundin'die Party zum 16. Geburtstag ausrichten muss. Alex protestiert erfolglos, denn Claudia bleibt hartnäckig und schaltet kurzerhand Alex'Eltern ein. Die sind natürlich begeistert und stimmen sofort zu - mehr noch, sie überlassen den Teenies freiwillig das Degenhardtsche Heim, sturmfreie Bude also. Noch bevor die Partygäste kommen, zerstreiten sich die Freundinnen und Alex verlässt verärgert das Haus. Alleine im Café entdeckt sie Claudias ominöse Liste in ihrer Tasche und liest entsetzt, was sich Claudia für die Nacht zum 16.
Episode 2 : Eine gewisse Chemie

Alex legt sich in der Schule ausgerechnet mit ihrem Chemielehrer Dr. Orthmanns an, der bei allen Mitschülern wegen seiner zynischen Strenge gefürchtet ist. Die Konfrontation hat natürlich Folgen: Alex wird dazu verdonnert, zusammen mit ihrem Mitschüler Daniel, der die Chemiestunde einfach geschwänzt hat, am Nachmittag ein Chemieexperiment aufzubauen - sonst droht ein blauer Brief. Alex'beste Freundin'Claudia hat wider Erwarten überhaupt kein Mitleid - im Gegenteil: Sie ist begeistert. Hat doch so ihre beste Freundin die Gelegenheit, von der jedes andere Mädchen der Klasse nur träumen kann: zwei Stunden alleine mit Daniel in einem Zimmer... Das ist doch fast ein richtiges Rendezvous. Claudia ist trotz energischem Protest von Alex felsenfest davon überzeugt, dass zwischen Alex und Daniel'die Chemie'im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes stimmt. Doch dummerweise taucht Daniel gar nicht erst im Chemielabor auf. Wutschnaubend stellt Alex den Mädchenschwarm zur Rede.
Episode 1 : Der Einbruch

Alex'Eltern Anke und Hendrik, die immer noch ziemlich scharf aufeinander sind - was Alex cool fände, wenn's nicht ihre eigenen Eltern wären - beobachten mit Sorge die Entwicklung ihrer Tochter. Sie planen, Alex auf ein Internat zu schicken, damit sie endlich Freundinnen kennen lernt. Um wieder ihre Ruhe zu haben, stellt Alex ihren Eltern Claudia kurzerhand als neue Freundin vor, und das Thema Internat ist erstmal vom Tisch. Dummerweise hat Claudia sie nun in der Hand und verlangt, dass Alex ihr aus der Patsche hilft. Claudia hat nämlich ihrer Mathematiklehrerin statt der Hausaufgaben ausgerechnet das Blatt gegeben, auf dem geschrieben steht, was Claudia an Alex hasst. Um diese Liste auszutauschen, schreckt Claudia nicht mal vor einem Einbruch ins Lehrerzimmer zurück - natürlich nicht ohne Alex. Dummerweise werden die Beiden erwischt und landen auf der Polizeiwache...
