Synopsis
Follow the adventures of fireman Sam and his colleagues as they protect the citizens of the Welsh town of Pontypandy. Whenever the alarm sounds, brave Sam and his co-workers can be counted on to jump into a fire engine, hop onto a helicopter, or even launch an inflatable lifeboat to battle blazes, mount rescue missions, or provide medical attention to those in need.

It is open day at Pontypandy Fire Station and everyone is invited to visit and have a look around. Norman and James end up stuck on the roof when they want to see more and have to be rescued by Fireman Sam.

The residents of Pontypandy wake up to find the whole of the town flooded! Fireman Sam and Tom Thomas the helicopter pilot lend a hand where they can and Fireman Elvis Cridlington and Firefighter Penny Morris come to the rescue in the rescue boat. Meanwhile Norman Price goes off to look for Woolly and Lambikins.

In the annual three-legged race in Pontypandy, Fireman Sam is partnered with a less-than-confident Dilys Price. Norman Price tries to cheat but then hurts his leg. Fireman Sam and Tom Thomas come to the rescue in the helicopter.

James has a new model airplane which Norman has a go at but flies it into Station Officer Steele who demands that he not fly it in Pontypandy. Norman persuades James to take it to the Mountain Rescue Center and fly it but it lands in a tree and leads to them getting stuck.

It is Station Officer Steele's day off from the Fire Service. Elvis persuades Sam to let him be in charge at the fire station. Station Officer Steele, Trevor Evans, Nurse Flood, Mandy, Norman and Dilys Price go to the seaside together, but will the SatNav get them there?

Fireman Sam and the rest of the team are training Mike Flood and Charlie Jones to be reserve firemen, and Station Officer Steele is very pleased with their progress. Both Charlie and Mike are itching to fight a fire but the training has prevented Charlie from going out in his fishing boat and there is no fish for the Wholefish Cafe. Charlie and Station Officer Steele they go out in the fishing boat, but are cast adrift after an engine fire leaves their boat stranded.

James and Norman get trapped in a row boat at sea when their pirating adventures get a little out of hand. Lion the cat is not allowed in the Fire Station so Fireman Sam takes him back to Bronwyn.

On Fireman Sam's day off the crew are inundated with the Jones' emergencies. Firefighter Penny Morris has caught a cold, but she still tries to perform her firefighter duties. However, when the Joneses get stuck on Charlie's boat, Penny's illness takes hold while she is out on Neptune alone, and Sam has to come to the rescue.

It's Halloween and everyone in Pontypandy is looking forward to the big party at the Floods' house. Norman Price gets into the Halloween spirit by pretending Pontypandy is haunted by a ghost, but then manages to set the Floods' house on fire. Firemen Sam, Elvis and Station Officer Steele come to the rescue.

Norman Price practices his new career as a shepherd by rounding up Woolly with Radar. However, Woolly and her lamb run into the road and make Mike Flood's van tip over. Firefighter Cridlington and Station Officer Steele get the hiccups.

Mandy Flood and Norman Price head off to the beach with their buckets and nets challenging each other to see who will obtain the best catch of the day where Mandy finds a whale stranded on the beach and the crew have to try to rescue it.

It is Fireman Sam's day off, but it doesn't last! He saves Mike Flood from the roof, and saves Norman Price from quicksand. He stops Trevor Evans' bus going off the road, and then puts out a fire in Dilys Price's store.

As preparations are made for a Pontypandy Karaoke night, Sam and the other firefighters prepare for a drill. Mike Flood works on repairs for Bronwyn but he gets trapped in the Jones' basement, after he accidentally jams the door and causing a small leak to turn into a flood. Fireman Sam comes to the rescue.

Norman Price gets Trevor Evans and Tom Thomas to have a competition to see whose food tastes better. Trevor Evans puts a lot of coal on to his barbecue, soon causing some trees to catch fire.
Episode 7 : Stuck In The Muck

There's trouble for Trevor Evans as the school bus swerves off the road and breaks down in the Pontypandy hills. Unfortunately, mobile phones have no signal up in the Welsh hills and he is stranded - with a beast about. Fireman Sam comes to the rescue, with the assistance of Tom in the helicopter. Then they search for Trevor, who made an attempt of finding help. In the end everyone is safe and they go home. Norman spots a black animal passing over the road just before the bus rounds a corner, but when he tells everyone else about his sighting, nobody believes him.

Norman and Trevor go bird watching. Elvis is preparing to go on a TV show and says he might not be a fireman for much longer. However he decides to help when the forest catches fire.

For the Pontypandy Flower and Vegetable show, Mike is entering a marrow that he has been growing on his compost heap. But he did not heed Sam's advice about turning over his compost regularly, so when he removes his marrow, the air gets into the heap and starts a fire!

While playing hide-and-seek in the mountains with Norman, Mandy finds a distress flare. Norman wants to let it off but Mandy resists, fearing that it could be dangerous. When they discover Penny stranded on a cliff, they use the flare to raise the alarm. It is up to Sam, Elvis and Tom to rescue Penny.

Not prepared to wait until his birthday for a new board, Norman decides to retrieve coins from the bottom of a wishing well and buy one himself. Dick Spanner
Dick Spanner, P.I. is a 1986 British stop-motion animated comedy series which parodied Chandleresque detective shows. The title character and main protagonist was Dick Spanner, voiced by Shane Rimmer, a robotic private detective who works cases in a futuristic urban setting. The show made frequent use of puns and visual gags.
The series consisted of 22 six-minute episodes, covering two story arcs of equal length: "The Case Of The Human Cannonball" and "The Case Of The Maltese Parrot". The programme was originally broadcast in the United Kingdom as a segment of the Sunday morning show Network 7 on Channel 4, and was later repeated on the same channel in a late night spot.
Produced by Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson, the series was created and written by Terry Adlam, who had previously worked on effects for Anderson's Terrahawks. It was also the basis for the Anderson-created Tennants Pilsner advertising campaign using the Lou Tennant character.
The Treacle People
The Treacle People was a children's television programme shown on CITV in the United Kingdom, from 3 May 1996 to 25 July 1997. It only had two series, each with 13 episodes. In a similar vein to other shows by the same writer, the humour worked on two levels for younger and older viewers. It was produced by The London Studios for London Weekend Television and Fire Mountain Productions in association with Link Entertainment. In 2023, the series was remastered, with full episodes posted on the show's official YouTube Channel.
Hector's House
Hector's House is a children's television series using hand puppets.
Like the better known The Magic Roundabout it was actually a French production revoiced for a British audience. A gentle, rather than subversive or outright bizarre, series, it was first broadcast in 1965. Its French title was La Maison de Toutou and the French version was written by Georges Croses. "La Maison de Toutou" translates as "The House of the Doggie" and in the French version, Zsazsa is known as ZouZou. In the UK, it was screened in the late 1960s and early 1970s for its 5-minute-long screenings on BBC 1 at 5.40 p.m. before the News.
The main characters, affable Hector the Dog and cute Zsazsa the Cat, live in a house and beautiful garden. Kiki the Frog, dressed in a pink smock, is a constant and at times an intrusive visitor, through her hole in the wall. Despite Hector's willingness to endlessly help them out, Kiki and Zsazsa often played tricks on him to teach him a lesson, leading him to say his catchphrase at the end of the episode, "I'm a Great Big [whatever he was] Old Hector.
Hector's voice was performed by Paul Bacon, who died in 1995. The voice of Kiki was by Denise Bryer, who also had roles in Noddy, Terrahawks and Labyrinth. The voice of Zsazsa was supplied by Lucie Dolène. About 78 episodes were made, each of 5 minutes' duration. A DVD featuring some of these episodes has been released.

Rastamouse is a British animated stop motion children's TV series created by Genevieve Webster and Michael De Souza and produced by Three Stones Media/The Rastamouse Company for CBeebies. The show follows crime-busting mouse reggae band Da Easy Crew, who split their time between making music and solving mysteries for Da President of Mouseland. The first 52 episodes of the initial series were shown in the afternoon beginning 31 January 2011 on CBeebies. From 7 March 2011, the programme was repeated in the early mornings, on BBC Two. The second series, comprising a further 26 episodes, started on 20 August 2012, on CBeebies.

Tottie: The Story of a Doll's House
Tottie: The Story of a Doll's House is a 1984 animated television series. It is based on The Dolls' House, a children's novel written by Rumer Godden originally published in 1947, and focuses on the toys living in a Victorian Dolls' House belonging to sisters Emily and Charlotte Dane.
The whole series had a very dark edge as the dolls had to wish very hard that good things would happen and they would not fall on misfortune. The series started with the phrase "Dolls are not like people, people choose, but dolls can only be chosen".
Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention
In the series, "Wallace will take a light hearted and humorous look at the real-life inventors, contraptions, gadgets and inventions, with the silent help of Gromit. The series aims to inspire a whole new generation of innovative minds by showing them real, but mind-boggling, machines and inventions from around the world that have influenced his illustrious inventing career" (the BBC press statement).
Peter Sallis reprised his role as the voice of Wallace. The filmed inserts are mostly narrated by Ashley Jensen, with one in each episode presented in-vision by Jem Stansfield. John Sparkes also voices a portion in the unseen character of archivist Goronwy.
