Synopsis
Thomas & Friends is a British children's television series, which had its first broadcast on the ITV network on 4 September 1984. It is based on The Railway Series of books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son, Christopher Awdry. These books deal with the adventures of a group of anthropomorphised locomotives and road vehicles who live on the fictional Island of Sodor. The books were based on stories Wilbert told to entertain his son, Christopher during his recovery from measles. From Series one to four, many of the stories are based on events from Awdry's personal experience.

Percy loves seeing the cheerful postman Tom Tipper driving about in his old van and helping him with his mail train. But Tom feels very sad when the Postmaster scraps his van and replaces it with a bicycle. Percy's wish to help his friend comes true - well - by accident, at least!

Rusty and the men are working hard to mend the line; but there is still one bad bit, before the first station, which they haven't had time for. The little diesel tells Duncan to be careful. But Duncan doesn't like being told what to do, and so he rocks 'n' rolls along the line...with predictable results!

Before the problems come to their railway, Falcon is doing rather well, and the manager explains to him that he is now ready to take on "The Mountain Road", a difficult part of the line, so Duke is coming along to help. Falcon is not happy about this.
Falcon and Duke set off, but Falcon becomes careless and finds himself hanging on the edge of the hillside...

H.R. Pufnstuf
H.R. Pufnstuf is a children's television series produced by Sid and Marty Krofft in the United States. It was the first Krofft live-action, life-size puppet program. The seventeen episodes were originally broadcast from September 6, 1969 to December 27, 1969. The broadcasts were successful enough that NBC kept it on the Saturday morning schedule until August 1972. The show was shot in Paramount Studios and its opening was shot in Big Bear Lake, California. Reruns of the show aired on ABC Saturday morning from September 2, 1972 to September 8, 1973 and on Sunday mornings in some markets from September 16, 1973 to September 8, 1974. It was syndicated by itself from 1974 to 1978 and in a package with six other Kroft series under the banner Kroft Superstars from 1978 to 1985.
In 2004 and 2007, H.R. Pufnstuf was ranked #22 and #27 on TV Guide's Top Cult Shows Ever.
