Episode 13 : Feeling The Squeeze
October. 05,2016
When buying their first house together, Dennis and Marie thought they'd found their dream home. Three kids later, they're feeling the squeeze and need a larger property that fits their family's lifestyle. Jonathan comes up with a design plan that's guaranteed to make the property dazzle, and Marie takes a radical approach to get rid of a contentious old armchair. Meanwhile, Drew provides some advice that turns out to be worth money in the bank.
Episode 12 : Eat, Move, Love
September. 28,2016
Foodies Charlie, Renee and their daughters love to cook, but their home with its apartment-size kitchen just isn't cutting the mustard anymore. The Property Brothers step in to help the family move on by transforming their current house into a showstopper with a cozy den. Meanwhile, the family counts on Drew to get them their dream kitchen, but the real challenge is finding a backyard that's as nice as the one they've already got.
Episode 11 : Move Out and Move On
September. 21,2016
With hectic work schedules, two kids under the age of four and a house that needs tons of work, fireman Dan and nurse Olivia are feeling the heat. Although they're desperate for a fresh new start, their current fixer-upper is holding them back. Along with a crew of off-duty firemen, Jonathan gets started on a massive kitchen reno where he discovers a cost-saving strategy right under his feet. Meanwhile, Drew follows his hunch to deliver the perfect turnkey home, and even steps in to babysit while Olivia and Dan get some much-needed time off.
Episode 10 : Don't Do It Yourself
September. 14,2016
Chandra and Tom bought their foreclosure home seven years ago, and it's been a DIY disaster ever since. Rather than adding to its value, their shoddy renovations have decreased the value of the property and now they're stuck in real estate limbo. Jonathan gets busy with an ambitious overhaul that includes turning a hot tub time machine into a tantalizing summer kitchen, while Drew leads the search for a new property. Chandra is prepared to tackle a fixer-upper, but Tom has his mind set on a hassle-free turnkey home.
Episode 9 : Lesson in Location
September. 07,2016
Beth and Chris thought they'd found their forever home, but things have changed and they're now putting their four-year-old twins first. The couple wants to move to a better school district, but the school year is fast approaching and time is running out. Jonathan uncovers some bad news while trying to transform the style-challenged property into a showstopper. Meanwhile, Drew leads a brave house hunt, but with so few properties on the market, the couple's priorities are soon put to the test.
Episode 8 : Grandma Style Overhaul
August. 31,2016
With a four-year-old and another baby on the way, Mike and Nicole need more room to grow, but their current property is holding them back. The Property Brothers step in with a real estate intervention that transforms their lackluster interiors into a contemporary showstopper. Episode 7 : Room to Grow
August. 24,2016
Kim and Pete didn't realize how difficult it would be to raise three boys in a split-level property, so they are now looking for a spacious family-friendly home where they can keep an eye on their A-team. Jonathan tackles a three-week makeover designed to showcase the property's best features so it will stand out from the crowd. Meanwhile, Drew leads the hunt for a fully-loaded dream home, though satisfying the couple's long wish list proves tricky.
Episode 6 : Cold, Hard House
August. 17,2016
Rachel and Anthony's home looks great at first glance, but its awkward layout, limited storage and substandard addition are cramping their style. The couple dreams of finding a spacious worry-free property where they can grow their family, but the underwhelming bungalow is holding them back. In order to jump-start the couple's future, Jonathan tackles an ambitious renovation that includes a spacious new master bedroom and bath. Meanwhile, it's up to Drew to maximize the couple's limited budget in a hot real estate market.
Episode 5 : Time to Move On
August. 10,2016
Jeremy and Dayna's suburban bungalow was plenty big when it was just the two of them, but four kids later their crowded house is bursting at the seams. The couple has made several attempts to move on and even tried adding square footage with a new addition. But they've finally hit a wall and desperately need real estate therapy. The Property Brothers step in with a plan and while Jonathan tackles a laundry list of renos to increase the value of their current house, Drew leads the search for a spacious forever home. As the walls come down, Jonathan encourages an emotional Dayna to focus on the future. Meanwhile, Drew is determined to prove that change is good, but even after a 10-year house hunt, it seems Dayna's still not ready to make a move.
Episode 4 : Too Many Kids, Not Enough House
August. 03,2016
Mike and Steve lived comfortably in their cozy cottage for a decade before they started adopting. But now with four energetic children under one tiny roof, the family is desperate for more space. Their charming home has tons of potential, but after two years on the market, it's clear that its best features are hidden behind clutter and some shortsighted design choices. The Property Brothers step in with a price-conscious renovation plan that's guaranteed to turn things around. Jonathan goes full-tilt with an ambitious main floor makeover and a strategy to improve the home's curb appeal. Meanwhile, Drew eventually shifts gears with the house hunt and hopes for a homerun with a 200-year-old property with a surprising list of family-friendly amenities.
Episode 3 : Making Room for Grandma
July. 27,2016
With a teenage daughter and grandma just about to move in, Nick and Julie's tiny house is seriously cramping their style. And while they'd love to find a spacious property with room for everyone, their cluttered interiors and the home's over-the-top yellow façade are holding them back. The couple is thrilled when Drew and Jonathan come to the rescue, but then suffer temporary sticker shock when they find out how much the major makeover is going to cost. Jonathan uncovers another costly surprise when the kitchen wall comes down. And while sprucing up the home's exterior is a piece of cake, Drew has his hands full with an ambitious house hunt where the couple's budget and wish list simply don't add up.
Episode 2 : Get Us Out of the City
July. 20,2016
Joe and Lana want the best for their three young kids, but city living is costing them a fortune and Joe's working seven days a week just to keep the family afloat. The couple is desperate for a new life in the suburbs, but they won't be going anywhere until their current home gets a major makeover. The Property Brothers step in to turn things around, but while Joe and Lana are prepared to go the distance, the hefty renovation budget takes them by surprise. Jonathan promises to make their dated property look like a million bucks and dives head first into the huge project. Meanwhile, the search is on for a sprawling suburban home. And while at first it looks as though Drew has hit a homerun, the couple's house hunt hits a serious snag before they eventually get better news than they ever expected.
Episode 1 : Suburban to Urban
July. 13,2016
After years of commuting back and forth to the city, Craig and Simone are ready to leave the suburbs for good, and are searching for a downtown family home where they'll have more time to enjoy the good life. But their current property is stuck in the 90s and will need a complete overhaul before they can afford to make the switch. Enter Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott. They've got a plan for a total property facelift and Jonathan gets started with the drastic changes required to get the time warp home ready for a close-up. Meanwhile, the couple soon learns that urban real estate comes at a premium and they're underwhelmed by the pricey options that fall short of their expectations. Drew comes up with a number of solutions to stretch their budget, but ultimately it's up to Craig and Simone to decide what matters most.
