The Great War - 1917 - Year of Endurance
Part of the documentary series looking at the course of the First World War. By the end of the year, the Russians had withdrawn from the conflict following the Revolution, while the Americans were slowly becoming involved.

Up, Down, Around
A student film comprising entirely of found footage, constructed to challenge the viewer's perception and induce a struggle between processing the images, keeping track of their sequence and interpreting the allegorical layers within the film. The screen is broken up into eight more or less equal squares of which, at any one moment, a scene fragment may flickeringly appear in only one frame-corner at a time. As the film moves forward in time and patterns on screen become more complex, the viewer must choose what to focus on.
Silent Tears
An innocent father and his blind daughter with a doll spend their days within the walls of a bunker during the final stages of civil war in Sri Lanka. The surprising third character connects the father, daughter and the doll in a sorrowful manner. The blood tears they shed during the darkest hours are unheard by many. The characters represent the current stages of the tamils in Sri Lanka. The ones who died, disappeared and the living dead.
Treblinka: Hitler's Killing Machine
A forensic archaeologist unearths new clues to Hitler's secret extermination camp in Poland, where up to 900,000 Jews were sent to their deaths.
D-Day's Sunken Secrets
June 6 1944 saw the world’s biggest amphibious assault, one of the most important military campaigns in history and a pivotal moment in the Second World War. For generations, historians, archaeologists and other experts, in their attempts to reconstruct the events of the day, have scoured every battlefield – except one. Just off the coast of Normandy is a lost graveyard, where hundreds of objects lie on the sea bed.
America's Secret D-Day Disaster
6 weeks before D-Day, British, American, and Canadian soldiers took part in a dangerous rehearsal for the Normandy invasion which claimed more American lives than the attack on Utah Beach. So what happened? How many Americans died? And who is to blame?
Royal Cousins at War
At the time World War I broke out, the King of England, the Czar of Russia, and the Kaiser of Germany were first cousins. This two-part series looks at the role played by Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany and King George V of England, and their relationships with each other, in the outbreak of war. Mismanaging their countries and mishandling foreign policy, they failed to adapt to the forces of nationalism and democracy, and so brought tumbling down their own ideal of a Europe governed by the descendants of Queen Victoria. While it was war that delivered the final blow, this fascinating series shows how the problems had set in much earlier.
The Last Cyclist
World War 2 story of a Christian orphan raised in Jewish family who has to face the cruel fate of Auschwitz.
