A Christmas Carol: The Concert is a unique musical event — Charles Dickens' popular 1843 novella has been adapted for a live orchestral concert with choir and soloists, and performed for an audience in a concert setting. The score, composed by Bob Christianson, recalls Broadway classics such as Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera, and is filled with memorable, haunting and rousing songs. It includes musical styles that range from classical to Broadway to blues and gospel. The story, faithfully adapted by Alisa Hauser (who also wrote the lyrics), is performed by leading lights from the Chicago and New York theater world, including Michael Aaron Lindner (Ebenezer Scrooge), E. Faye Butler (Narrator), Scott Coulter (Fred/Bob Cratchit), Kyle Scatliffe (Marley/The Ghosts), and Arya Daire (Belle).

Klaus Schulze - Big in Europe, Vol. 1 Warsaw
Live concert by West-German electronic musician and composer Klaus Schulze and the Australian singer Lisa Gerrard. Klaus Schulze is one of the few West-German musicians who is allowed to go on a celebrated tour in Poland 1983, largely due to the instrumental nature of his music, and he was later asked to return and play at the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Assault on Poland September on September 17, 2009 in Warsaw in the courtyard of the Royal Palace. Together with Lisa Gerrard, acclaimed exceptional artist and singer of Dead Can Dance, Klaus Schulze delivered an intensive performance in impressing scenery. On 1st July 2011 Montreux hosted the reunion of two master guitarists Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin with their Invitation To Illumination concert. Both musicians have been regulars at Montreux across the years but this was the first time they headlined their own concert together. The show features most of the tracks from their classic 1973 album Love Devotion Surrender mixed in with a wealth of other material. The evening was a showcase of supreme musical virtuosity and spirituality and typified the approach of these two great artists. It is certainly a performance not to be missed.

Eurovision Song Contest 2013 Grand Final
The 58th Eurovision Song Contest to take place in Malmö, Sweden ended in 26 countries competing in the Grand Final after 2 Semi-Finals earlier in the week. Estimated to have been seen by more than 170 million viewers. The opening started with a Eurovision Song Contest anthem, We Write The Story, by Benny and Björn from ABBA in collaboration with Swedish DJ sensation Aviccii. Petra Mede, a Swedish comedienne, was one of the first person in the past decades host entire show, a role often split between 2 or more. She additionally performed "Swedish Smorgasbord", a song and dance number during the interval, that was a lighthearted look at the Swedish Culture and people. She hosted wearing dresses which were all designed Jean-Paul Gaultier, who is also a big fan of the contest. The 58th annual Eurovision concluded with Emmelie de Forest, of Denmark, taking home the trophy, a short drive over the bridge from Malmö to Denmark, the second time Denmark had won when Sweden hosted.

Iron Maiden: Maiden England '88 (2013 Remaster Edition)
"Maiden England" (re-released in 2013 as Maiden England '88) is a live video by the band Iron Maiden during their Seventh Son of a Seventh Son world tour, which was dubbed 7th Tour of a 7th Tour. It was recorded at the NEC in Birmingham, England on 27 and 28 November 1988, released on VHS in November 1989, followed by a limited VHS/CD edition in 1994. In 2013, the full concert footage, including encores which were not included on the original VHS, was remastered and reissued on DVD, CD and LP under the new title Maiden England '88, including the "12 Wasred Years" documentary as a bonus DVD disc.
