Tribal Scent
Tribal Scent
Sandalwood is the basis of most of the world’s most expensive and exotic perfumes. Once prolific, 80% of it now comes from only one location, the outback of Western Australia. Tribal Scent follows the journey of choreographer, dancer, didgeridoo player, activist and tribal leader Dr Richard Walley. Richard joins forces with scientists and the world’s major perfume makers in Grasse, France. Together they work toward their shared goal of protecting one of the few remaining indigenous Sandalwood reserves in the world and, at the same time, protecting the harvesters in the outback deserts of Western Australia and thus protecting the sustainability of the high-end perfume industry itself. WA holds 80% of the world’s Sandalwood reserve.

The Art of Recovery
The Art of Recovery
Downtown has become a frontier of creativity where new ideas flourish. From raw and tragic beginnings, it has grown from a groundswell of spontaneous gap filling into a force that could redefine the shape of the future city. Projects like Gap Filler’s Dance-O-mat and Pallet Pavilion, the profusion of street art and Peter Majendie’s 185 Empty Chairs Memorial have become iconic symbols of the grassroots urban movement and provide sharp contrast to central Government’s big business, corporate driven approach to the rebuild of the city. Soon, a new city will arise, but whose city will it be, and will the creative energy that brought life to the rubble be a part of its future? The Art of Recovery documents one of the most dynamic, creative and contentious times in the history of Christchurch. It tells an uplifting story of resilience and community spirit that informs a greater conversation about how we live together, and how our we build our cities.

Disinformation - the wanted historical lie of Mossad
Disinformation - the wanted historical lie of Mossad
Germany’s first television channel proudly presents its “docudrama”: “Eichmann’s End – love, betrayal and death”. It shows the Nazi war criminal’s last years in Argentina and the “heroic search” of the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency and a tragic love story: Romeo and Juliet of the twentieth century, a Nazi Romeo and a Jewish Juliet. Klaus is Adolf Eichmann’s son and Silvia, the daughter of Lothar Hermann, a survivor of the Shoah. The docudrama is based on material from the Mossad and is given many laurels around the whole world. And suddenly, Liliana Hermann, grandniece of Lothar Hermann, is protesting: “Your praised docudrama is lousy disinformation”. In her new documentary, Gaby Weber investigated about the early days of Zionism in Germany, Eichmann´s role and about his citizenship. Her conclusion: At the time of his arrest, he had the Israeli citizenship and there was no “heroic kidnapping” by the Mossad, but a legal expulsion by Argentinean officials in May 1960.
