A Two Way Mirror
The breath-taking yet cold mountain landscapes of Lika shown in this poetic documentary intimate one’s state of mind, inner struggles and revelations. While Zrinka films the spectacular and cruel sights of the region, that very same Lika paints the contours of the director herself, as she revisits experiences of her ancestors and her own experiences in a search for the key for accepting her epilepsy and overcoming previous losses.

Mine Is Different
Mine Is Different
The collective heroes of the film are the parents and families of gays and lesbians. We listen to the polyphony from which shock and horror emerges when the mother or father learns about the child's homosexual orientation. Over time, and at great cost, parents' attitudes evolve. Relationships are revalued, suffering seems to have a source other than the child's psychosexual orientation. The title "Mine is different" has a bitter question mark. Bold formal solutions emphasize the feeling of being surrounded and isolated. From this moving narrative emerges the transformation in the perception of homosexuality that has taken place in the Polish collective consciousness over the last few decades.

Dispositio
Dispositio
Dispositio. Place where memory and oblivion fragments are deposited. Poetic documentary that talks about the birth and decay of the physical body of the films. This documentary rescues the beauty of celulloid films, in the form of digitalized fragments of many formats made with nitrate, acetate and polyester. It’s a song about memory, memories, forgetfulness and human evocation. Our mirrors: the moving images that erode to the extent of becoming dust. The film preservationists fight to prevent it.

The film "Searching for Freedom: The Holy Land Foundation" is a two part documentary focussing on the story of the Holy Land Foundation, established in the late 80s by three Americans from Palestinian origin, Shukri Abu Baker, Ghassan Elashi and Mohammad El-Mezain. The foundation aimed to supply humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in Palestine and countries hosting Palestinian refugees, it later became the largest charity association in the US to distribute humanitarian aid to Palestinians. After 9/11, the former US President George W. Bush issued a decision to shut down the Holy Land Foundation and freeze its assets. In 2007 the Holy Land Foundation trials began, where five of its members were charged with funding terrorism and sending money to Hamas, a blacklisted political group in the US. A second trial for the Holy Land Foundation members took place in 2008, which issued the convictions of five members of the Foundation and their sentencing of 65 years imprisonment.

A MEMORY IN KHAKI is a cry out for that which is embattled inside the spirits of individuals who lived under the oppressive Syrian regime. The auteur's personal narrative is interwoven with those of other Syrian characters who were forced, because of their political beliefs, to leave the country before or after the revolution. The film sheds light on years of silence, fear and terror, and it dives into the stories, which were behind the eruption of Syria’s society and the start of its revolution. Papa Rainbow
Papa Rainbow
In China, most families have difficulties facing their lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender (LGBT) children. They have to contend with common social beliefs that homosexuality is shameful, abnormal, a perverted condition caused by deviant family relationships. Many parents see their kids as their property, and fathers often assert their authority to ensure that no harm comes to the family reputation. The documentary 'Papa Rainbow' features six Chinese fathers who talk openly and freely about their experiences with their LGBT children. Speaking out against discrimination and stigma, they redefine what it means to protect a household. They fully embrace their kids for who they are, and become pioneer activists fighting for an equal and diverse society.

Child Mother
Child Mother
These are the memories of a lost girlhood. When they were only five or six or ten years old, their parents snatched them from the playground and handed them to much older men to be married. They recall the violence and fear they were subjected to, the pregnancies at the age of eleven or twelve, becoming mothers when they were still little girls themselves. It was an open secret but one they put aside forever, because revealing it might tear their family apart, causing commotion and creating chaos. The memories of their tragic childhood never healed – they were simply suppressed for the sake of their children, their livelihoods, and their husbands. No more.
