Instead, they name Zenica ‘A Green City Project’, building bicycle lanes in a city where breathing is a health hazard. A film about financial cynicism, political pragmatisk and greenwashing, in which West European countries play a surprisingly big role.
The Andersson Brothers
A tender portrayal of four stubborn brothers becomes a touching contemporary Swedish family chronicle about dreams, class, heritage, and how difficult it can be to connect with each other.
The Andersson brothers grew up in a working-class home in Gothenburg. Roy became an internationally acclaimed filmmaker while Ronny ended up as a homeless man. Kjell became a documentary filmmaker, and Leif lives as a disability pensioner. Johanna Bernhardson makes her feature film debut with a story about how life can turn out so differently despite seemingly similar circumstances. Through the portrayal of her father Leif and her uncles – with alcohol as a common thread – she also tells a tale of inheritance that stretches generations backward (and forward) in time. At the same time, she tries to get the brothers to stop sulking and reunite – before it's too late.

Kde je pravda?
How is it possible that in one country, in one half of the century, in a turbulent and unclear time, two people live not far from each other - a businessman with so-called "right-wing" views and an artist with so-called "left-wing" views, and both can be right? What is this truth and where is it to be found? Is there only one? What do these so different people have in common? What strange time was that second half of the twentieth century? These are the questions that may come to mind when watching the confrontation between two Czech Chileans, Milan Platovsky and Hanns Stein. The fate of the former could be written in the Guinness Book of Records - he is a twice-nationalised capitalist. The latter, on the other hand, has always been where the violence has come - in 1939 (Hitler), 1968 (Brezhnev) and 1973 (Pinochet) - on the other side, of course. You can meet both of them in the documentary film by Pavel Koutecký and Jan Burian, made in January 1999.

Phantasia
X-ray images were invented in 1895, the same year in which the Lumière brothers presented their respective invention in what today is considered to be the first cinema screening. Thus, both cinema and radiography fall within the scopic regime inaugurated by modernity. The use of X-rays on two sculptures from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum generates images that reveal certain elements of them that would otherwise be invisible to our eyes. These images, despite being generally created for technical or scientific purposes, seem to produce a certain form of 'photogénie': they lend the radiographed objects a new appearance that lies somewhere between the material and the ethereal, endowing them with a vaporous and spectral quality. It is not by chance that physics and phantasmagoria share the term 'spectrum' in their vocabulary.
