Synopsis
A journalist traces a microchip found in baby food. A bank manager's mistake ensnares her in a much larger scheme. A family falls apart after the father goes missing. An insurance examiner investigates what happened to a border control veterinarian. This suspenseful Nordic noir drama enters the world of international money laundering through the stories of ordinary people caught up in the crimes.

Jouni goes to the NBI with information on money laundering, but Marianne has more surprises in store. Johanna gets answers from the laboratory and sets out to expose the perpetrators. Sini and Sami give their father an ultimatum, and Erik is forced to choose between his safety and his children.

Inkeri's car is ambushed and hit, leaving her injured. Sini and Sami need an explanation for their father's disappearance. Johanna decides to act again and in addition to evidence, she gets ahold of something even bigger. While on vacation with her college friend Jouni, Marianne decides she's done playing other people's games.

Phoenix
Phoenix is an Australian police drama television series. Phoenix screened as two thirteen-part series on Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1992 and 1993.
The first series of Phoenix in 1992 recounted the investigation of the bombing of the Victorian state police headquarters, loosely based on a real case in the mid-1980s, the Russell Street Bombing. It was aided by extensive research into police techniques and was lauded as one of the most realistic depictions of police investigation techniques, including both surveillance and forensics, as well as having an involving storyline.
The series was notable for its dark visual tone and for its no-holds-barred attitude to violence and language.
It spawned a second thirteen-part series, Phoenix II, in 1993 as well as a spin-off series, Janus, in 1994 devoted to the machinations of court cases.
The series was created and produced by Tony McDonald and Alison Nisselle and screened by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
The ABC have released Series 1 and 2 on DVD as a 4 DVD box set.
Beat the Geeks
Beat the Geeks is an American comedy game show that aired on Comedy Central from 2001 to 2002. The show was rerun on The Comedy Network in Canada and reruns currently air on G4techTV Canada and Prime in New Zealand.
On the show, contestants face off in trivia matches against "geeks" who are well-versed in music, movies, and television, as well as a fourth guest geek with an alternate area of expertise which varies from episode to episode. The object is to outsmart the geek at their own subject; as a handicap, the geeks are given questions of considerably greater difficulty than the contestants. Beat the Geeks was taped at the Hollywood Center Studios.
