The series leaves behind all connotations of your typical "pawn shop" as it delves into the high-end world of fine jewelry and Hollywood memorabilia. While your typical stroll down Hollywood Blvd might net you a few souvenirs to take home, Yossi Dina prefers to provide his customers with authentically exclusive items pawned from result of star divorces and failed businesses. Today the action at Beverly Hills Pawn is out of this world. A Star Trek treasure sends Yossi and his team into uncharted territory, with big bucks at stake for a one-of-a-kind piece of Captain Kirk's wardrobe. In the back office, Cory pushes her boss to boldly go where he has never been before -- behind a computer to send his own e mail for the very first time. A vintage purse made of pure gold lures a real princess into the store, and the team takes a trip to an historic hilltop home to bid on a piano that once belonged to a King -- none other than Elvis Presley. Later, Yossi shows his soft side when the partner of a famous producer brings in a treasured Victorian necklace to raise money for charity, and living legend Larry King drops by looking for an extra-special anniversary gift. It's just another 'average' day, at the most exclusive pawn shop on the planet.

July. 24,2013

Yossi caves regardless of the price, how can you not?! After, Yossi visits a beautiful home to view the one and only dress worn by Kim Novack in the movie classic: Vertigo. The dress was designed by the famous Edith Head and gathers an enormous price estimate of… wait for it… OVER $100,000!!!!!! Phew! The end of this episode brings out the most exciting piece, in my opinion. A man brings in a 450 year old Bhudda statue. The statue is of Gilt Bronze and was made in the 16th century!! That's an old Bhudda! Not to mention, this amazing statue was used in the movies: Maltese Falcon and Blood Bath… oh yeah AND it was part of the Ming Dynasty in China. Now that's art! Although, as amazing as it is, Yossi can't seem to agree on a price.

twentyfourseven
twentyfourseven
twentyfourseven was a documentary-style reality show on MTV that documented the lives of seven male friends seeking fame and fortune in Hollywood. Launched in December 2006, the show aired on Wednesday nights in the Ten Spot block after The Real World. The show faced low ratings and critical derision, and some viewers were suspicious that certain portions of the show were staged for dramatic effect; for instance, Greg Cipes was described as a singer new to the Los Angeles music scene, despite his acting in small live-action roles and voicing characters for animated series for several years. Also in question was Chris Carney's arrest in his hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas for a DWI charge. His booking may have been refilmed after all charges against him were dropped. Specifically, upon arrest, Carney had a buzzcut. When he was released the subsequent day, a discontinuity error emerged, revealing that he had grown a mohawk. In a rare move, MTV canceled the series without explanation after three episodes. Though the network refrained from airing any repeats, the series' subsequent episodes premiered each Wednesday afternoon on MTV.com. The iTunes Store hosted the show as well, but iTunes did not post any new episodes after its cancellation.
