Mr. Twinkacetti hasn't been living up to his landlord responsibilities so Larry, Balki, and all the tenants hold a meeting and declare a rent strike. The tenants still won't quit even after Twinkacetti turns off the electricity, water and heat which is too bad for Twinkie who needs money to pay off a gambling debt.

Balki takes a job delivering packages for a racketeer named Vince Lucas. After Vince is busted, they are asked to testify in court but Vince threatens to kill them if they do.

Balki agrees to take care of Gina's baby while she goes away with her husband. And since Larry knows more about babies, he is obligated to help Balki. Things go fine until they take him to the park and lose him.

Balki falls in love with a girl at night school and who makes a play for Larry and constantly breaks dates with him. Balki refuses to believe that she is just using him to get good grades.

Larry and Balki win a trip to Las Vegas. When they get there, Larry plans out what to do for their entire trip to prevent Balki from going to the casinos and becoming a compulsive gambler. Balki eventually talks him into it and after Balki has a string of good luck playing roulette, Larry starts playing and won't stop.

The namesake teenagers have exaggerated wealth, and face stereotypical teenage concerns. They represent a variety of European backgrounds. There are sixty-five episodes all in one season, each thirty minutes long. The original title song was performed in both the English and French versions by Valérie Barouille. The show originally aired in first-run syndication in the United States. In 1989, Beverly Hills Teens was nominated for the Young Artist award for Best Animated Series. In the same year, the show was syndicated by Claster Television as part of a package featuring Maxie's World and the non-DIC series It's Punky Brewster. The French dub is known as BéCéBéGé, or sometimes Le Club BCBG, a title derived from the acronym BCBG, which stands for "bon chic, bon genre". It aired on Antenne 2 in 1988.

The series follows the exploits of a criminal profiler working with the FBI's fictional Violent Crimes Task Force based in Atlanta, Georgia. Ally Walker starred as profiler Dr. Samantha Waters during the first three seasons, and was later replaced by Jamie Luner as profiler Dr. Rachel Burke during the show's final season. Robert Davi, Roma Maffia, Peter Frechette, Erica Gimpel and Julian McMahon co-starred throughout the show's run. Caitlin Wachs played Dr. Waters daughter for the first two seasons, a role taken over by Evan Rachel Wood in 1998. Profiler shares a similar lead character and premise with the Fox Network series Millennium, created by Chris Carter. Both shows premiered at the beginning of the 1996–97 television season.
