Synopsis
The basic structure of the program is that a number of farmers are presented with women from the city, from whom they choose one to be their spouse. The first edition premièred in the United Kingdom on ITV in 2001. However, the original format of the program is likely to date back to the TV program Bauer sucht Bäuerin, which was broadcast in 1983 on SF DRS in Switzerland.
Episode 13 : De reünie

Het vijfde seizoen van Boer zoekt Vrouw eindigt niet alleen met een terugblik op een turbulente serie Boer zoekt Vrouw, maar ook met een conclusie: heeft hij haar (en: zij hem) gevonden, of toch niet? Hoe staan de zaken ervoor op het agrarisch liefdesfront?
Ook de boeren die afvielen komen gezellig langs. Hoe is het hen vergaan na hun eerste oproep? Zijn zij ook echt aan de slag gegaan met hun brieven, en hebben zij uiteindelijk hun ideale vrouwen gevonden?
De twaalf boeren én hun eventuele partners komen samen om elkaar, Yvon en de kijker te vertellen hoe het nu met ze gaat. Kortom: de ultieme reünie van de boeren uit de vijfde serie van Boer zoekt Vrouw.
Episode 12 : De citytrip

De boeren gaan op citytrip en leren de vrouw/man van hun keuze nog beter kennen.
Op vijf mooie plekjes in Europa lopen vijf koppels rond. Lopen ze gearmd of liever met wat afstand er tussen? Ontstaat er echt liefde? We zien de vijf boeren met hun gekozen vrouw tijdens een al dan niet liefdevol weekendje op een uitdagend plekje ergens in Europa.
Episode 11 : De laatste keuzes

Na de plotselinge ontknoping bij Gijsbert is het vandaag de beurt aan Annemarie, Frank en Marcel om een laatste keuze te maken.
Bij Frank zijn de emoties hoog opgelopen want de keus is lastig. Het is niet alleen een keus tussen Anita en Judith, maar daarmee ook tussen een langdurige weekendrelatie of snel settelen. Wat gaat Frank doen?
Bij Annemarie wordt er ook over de toekomst nagedacht. Wie van de mannen past het beste op haar boerderij? De vrolijke Harry of de nuchtere Adriaan? Een van beiden verlaat vandaag de boerderij.
Marcel tenslotte legt zijn lot in handen van zijn vrouwen. Hij is niet zozeer met zijn eigen gevoelens bezig, maar polst juist tot het laatste moment of de vrouwen gevoelens hebben voor hem. Hij bewandelt hiermee een lastig en onzeker pad.
Episode 10 : Onderonsjes op de boerderij

Bij Annemarie is er de afgelopen dagen hard gewerkt, maar vandaag wil ze duidelijkheid.
Wie van de heren past het best op de kaasboerderij? Annemarie trekt de stoute schoenen aan en begint een diepgaand gesprek met zowel Adriaan als Harrie.
Gijsbert heeft ook onderonsjes met zijn dames, die behoorlijk van elkaar verschillen.
Anita is van huis uit gewend om op de boerderij te wonen, maar ook Judith voelt zich helemaal thuis tussen de geiten van Frank.
Marcel voelt ook het einde van de logeerweek naderen en peilt zijn kansen bij een van de vrouwen.
Op één van de boerderijen komt de logeerweek tot een onverwacht einde.
Episode 9 : Boer Richard legt de waarheid op tafel

Na de grote verrassing bij Richard vorige week, is het tijd dat de waarheid op tafel komt.
Op de andere boerderijen worstelen de boeren met de keuze tussen gevoel en verstand. De praktische keuze ligt voor de hand; een partner die in de buurt woont en op korte termijn op de boerderij kan komen wonen, is nou eenmaal heel handig. Maar wat nou als het gevoel uitgaat naar degene die niet aan deze criteria voldoet?
Episode 8 : Onrust op de boederijen

Op de boerderijen van Frank, Gijsbert en Marcel zijn na vorige week nog maar twee vrouwen over.
Annemarie moet vandaag haar eerste keuze maken. Tot die tijd maakt ze gretig gebruik van het feit dat ze drie sterke mannen op de boerderij heeft
Episode 7 : Kiezen uit drie

De logeerweek is in volle gang. Richard en zijn vrouwen genieten met volle teugen van elkaars gezelschap en van de mooie boerderij. Bij Annemarie moet er altijd hard gewerkt worden, maar nu ze drie assistenten in huis heeft, gooit ze er nog een schepje bovenop.
Episode 6 : Een warm onthaal

De vrouwen zijn nog maar net op de boerderij en het is nog even wennen. Beetje koud, beetje regenachtig en dan ook nog een vreemde omgeving. Gelukkig zorgen de boeren voor een warm onthaal van de drie logees.

Een spannende dag voor de boeren. Samen met Yvon maken Richard, Frank, Annemarie, Gijsbert en Marcel zich op om de gasten te ontvangen die de komende week de boerenlandlucht komen opsnuiven

In deze aflevering neemt de boer zijn vijf favorieten mee uit. Door samen dingen te doen, krijgen ze de kans om elkaar beter te leren kennen. Aan het eind van deze aflevering komt Yvon met de wederkerende, lastige vraag: wie gaat er mee naar de volgende aflevering en wie valt er af. Iedere boer neemt in deze aflevering afscheid van twee dates. Drie blijven over!
Episode 3 : De speeddates!

De vijf boeren ontmoeten ieder hun tien favorieten. Een prachtig kasteel in het midden van het land is deze dag het decor van die ontmoeting en Yvon Jaspers is de gastvrouw. De boeren ontvangen hun dates hier voor korte kennismakingsgesprekjes van maximaal vijf minuten.

Edvard Munch
Edvard Munch is a 1974 biographical film about the Norwegian Expressionist painter Edvard Munch, written and directed by Peter Watkins. It was originally created as a three-part miniseries co-produced by the Norwegian and Swedish state television networks NRK and SVT, but subsequently gained an American theatrical release in a three-hour version in 1976. The film covers about thirty years of Munch's life, focusing on the influences that shaped his art, particularly the prevalence of disease and death in his family and his youthful affair with a married woman. The film was screened at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival, but wasn't entered into the main competition.
Linus the Lionhearted
Linus the Lionhearted is an American animated television series featuring a main character of the same name. The character was created in 1959 by the Ed Graham advertising agency, originally as a series of ads for General Foods' Post Cereals. At first, Linus was the spokesman for the short-lived Post cereal "Heart of Oats". Eventually, the lion was redesigned and reintroduced in 1963 to sell Crispy Critters, which featured Linus on the box. The ads were so popular that a television series was created in 1964 and ran on the CBS network until 1966, then reruns [in color] aired on ABC from 1966, until it was cancelled three years later. A coloring book was published which detailed the adventures of So-Hi going on a scavenger hunt in order to break a curse on a two-headed bird, who is then transformed into a boy due to So-Hi's dedication.
In addition to Linus, a rather good-natured "King of the Beasts" who ruled from his personal barber's chair and voiced by Sheldon Leonard, there were other features as well, all based on characters representing other popular Post cereals. The best-known of these was Sugar Bear, who sounded like Bing Crosby and was voiced by actor Gerry Matthews. There was also a postman named Lovable Truly, a young Asian boy named So Hi, and Rory Raccoon.
