Trailer Synopsis

Following his service in World War II, Doctor Finlay returns to the practice at Arden House. This is at a time when the National Health Service is about to be instituted.

With Janet off to Glasgow with Angus Livingstone, Dr. Neil attempts to do the cooking at Arden House. Also, Dr. Finlay and Dr. Gilmore once again cross swords about the National Health Service.

A patient of Dr. Finlay's breaks down in the surgery when he implies that her ailments are psychosomatic. Also, Dr. Cameron continues his lectures to the German prisoners of war at the local camp.

An urgent smallpox vaccination program is underway in Tannochbrae. Also, Dr. Neil suspects that Mary Thomson's illness remains because she is not taking her medicine.

DePatie, Friz Freleng, Chuck Jones, William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, and Daws Butler. The program was narrated by Leslie Fram and Don Kennedy. Every half-hour episode would have a different theme, including one series of episodes in 1996 featuring the long-unseen Nudnik shorts.
