Disabled Hugo Schmidt talks to the almost 90 year old Franz-Josef Sauer, who was left with a walking impairment by a tuberculosis infection in his childhood. In the 1990s Sauer received the German Federal Cross of Merit for his achievements in the disabled community. As a public servant in Münster and Düsseldorf he worked on several projects which still benefit his disabled peers. Sauer and Schmidt discover that, although they were born almost 70 years apart, their paths in life are not that different from each other.

Krzyk: Losing Control
The story is centred on Lena, who is 38 years old and lives in Poland. One night, while driving to Łódź on a motorway, she witnesses an accident. She sees how a woman trapped in a car burns to death. The screams of Nina, the victim, haunt Lena from then on, and she starts to suffer more and more from insomnia. Lena tries to find out who the woman was. This quest whisks the protagonist away on a physical as well as an emotional journey into her subconscious. The nights on the motorway turn into nightmares, and Lena has to find a way out of them.
Remote Occlusions

Tarde demais, meu amor
Hélio is a police chief who wants to free his town from the hands of Paulo, owner of a rundown nightclub that conceals criminal activities behind the stage where young girl Mariana performs every night. Mariana is a dancer who dreams of leaving town alongside her brother, Paulo's henchman, who is missing and being pursued by the police chief. This situation ties Hélio's to Mariana's destiny, who remains trapped in a life of cyclical actions and frustrations, forcing her to immerse in representations as if they constituted all reality. On his journey, the police chief befriends the girl, tries to help her, but they can't escape a brutal clash of interests, which leads both of them, and the city as a whole, to a tragic end.
