I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
This movie is OK for being made in the early 1980's. The same kind of humor as shown in Stripes or Bachelor party. But wait... this was actually made in 1994. So it was dated even when it was new. Oh well, if you like 80's comedies then this might still be okay if you've got a bit of spare time. And a few lovely ladies take their clothes off, that's also reminiscing of the 80's. But au contrary to what some other reviewer said, there is no full frontal scenes. Or perhaps there are different versions of this, mine is 90 minutes. The plot with the good guys and the bad guys is predictable, but that's of course part of the fun. But don't expect too much of this.
This movie is great. The girls are gorgeous, the guys are funny. The guy who played Alex in the movie (Doug Copithorne) works next door to me and is a friend of mine. By the way ladies... he's married now and has a couple kids so don't get any ideas :P I give this movie a 10 simply because of the utterly gorgeous girl who plays Beth. Beth if you read this I love you and I want to have your babies... Oh, and Doug says Hi.All in all this was a great movie for what it was, and I think it did Canada proud. They managed humor and a playboy bunny all in one fantastic movie. Great Job Ski School!!
This movie could have been alot better if they took there time seemed like it was kind of just thrown together. Its kind of sad too cause it had the making to be a real funny and entertaining movie with the presents of the hilarious Will Sasso and the extremely hot Wendy hamilton. You do have to admit though this movie did have some bright spots and could of been a 7 out of ten but decided to try and profit a little more of the first ski school that was a sleeper hit. So it will have to settle for a 4 from me.
Okay I admit it, my reason behind watching this film was because it has some pretty girls in it and yes, they do get naked. However, as soon as it started I realised that, in actuality, it wasn't all that bad and that there was more to it than copious (And I mean copious) breast shots. For a start its really quite funny with Dean Cameron especially showing that Canadians aren't all boring windbags. The locations are quite beautiful and although the plot itself is the same old bad-guy-wants-power-good-guys-want-to-stop-him schtick in this case it works and for some reason everything comes together really well.Another high point are the songs, many of which would not look out of place in the top 40. This despite the fact that I haven't heard of any of the bands involved. In a way that kind of sums it all up. You won't have heard of it or anyone in it but it's still good and well worth a watch.
