Such a frustrating disappointment
So much average
Nice effects though.
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
This is one of my favorite movies, I don't know if it's for the characters or the cast (which is amazing) or the atmosphere or the soundtrack or the story line, maybe it's all of it. This movie is great, because of the depth of the characters and the plot itself, is realistic and manages to make you feel touched by it. I just love this movie so much.
This movie is full of all sorts of emotive fueled twists and turns, after every positive outcome comes a negative one;this could be dangerous and quite risky normally, but here it keeps the viewer engaged and intertwined with the lives of the amazing characters on show. The movie tells the story of a writer living in almost envy of his successors, his siblings, they're almost mirroring what he has missed out on for all those years. The movie is very much focused on the idea that love does exist, but it can be cloaked with all sorts of misconceptions,in the end we all learn something that relates to that;but i won't spoil.Definitely watch this movie.
This is my absolute favorite movie. It has some hard parts, but above all it's a love story. I love the trials that the characters face; they seem realistic, and the acting is amazing. I especially enjoy the writing aspect that the characters thrive in; family hobbies are great, and it's the passion that the characters have that really sell the movie. Without the actors, the movie wouldn't be nearly as good, but anything that can be made great with good actors is already good on its own. 10/10 would recommend. ------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------
There won't be any fireworks in the story to catch your attention, but it's a great story written for flawed people that can love, divorce, hurt others or themselves, try to overcome difficulties with rational or irrational ways and at the end find the correct path in life. I loved the movie, I understood and sympathized with the characters. All the actors were great and pretty humane, with Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connely starring with their down-to earth performance and Lily Collin captivating as the beautiful girl who needed to be saved. What I liked the most is that the movie is emotional but not heartbreaking and that you could have met Borgen's family just round the block.
