Trailer Synopsis

The main character of the series is the ambulance doctor Oleg Samarin. Friends and colleagues call him Samara. A rebel and an upstart, he argues with his superiors, makes jokes about colleagues and patients, and breaks all the rules and regulations! But Samara gets away with everything. He is a surgeon from God! Every day Samara and his team (paramedic Lena and driver Mikhalych) help people. Oleg’s patients are a motley gallery of characters and destinies, and sometimes Samara has to treat not only their bodies, but also their souls. But Samara himself has something to hide... Samara has a secret, the disclosure of which threatens him with the loss of his favorite job. But, as they say, everything secret comes out someday...

Monkey Trousers was a short-lived comedy series on ITV in 2005, featuring Alistair McGowan, John Thomson, Ronni Ancona, Mackenzie Crook, Griff Rhys Jones, Neil Morrissey, Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer, Marc Wootton and Steve Coogan. Head Cases is an American primetime comedy-drama television program, best known as the first show cancelled for the 2005–2006 season. It was broadcast by FOX and premiered on September 14, 2005. It was cancelled after two episodes on September 22 after disastrous ratings and critical drubbing. Attorney Jason Payne (Chris O'Donnell) had a superstar career at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm -- that is, until his wife, Laurie, kicked him out of the house and he had a nervous breakdown. After three months at a "wellness center," Jason finds himself with no job, no place to live and no support system. Enter Russell Shultz (Adam Goldberg), an unkempt, unpredictable sufferer of explosive disorder, assigned to be outpatient "buddies" with Jason by their mutual therapist, Dr. Robinson. Payne and Shultz ultimately decide to open a law firm of their own.

The show was similar to Pee-Wee's Playhouse which also premiered on CBS. Al's television set was called "Al TV", the name of a number of Yankovic's television specials.
