Vive La Hecks

Axl returns home from his summer trip to Europe, sporting a man-bun and embracing a new, chill European outlook on life. Mike just wants him to clean up and look for a job, but Frankie thinks Axl will do this on his own and asks Mike to give him a little breathing room. Meanwhile, because Sue worked the entire summer at Spudsy’s and missed out on having any fun, she decides to cram in a whole summer of fun in two days before going back to college; Brick makes the decision to break up with Cindy because he doesn’t want to be tied down in a relationship when he’s about to embark on the revelry of his “big sophomore year”; and Frankie desperately tries to come up with an item for a time capsule that’s being buried under the Orson cow that will make the town remember the Hecks when it’s opened in 100 years.

The Middle Audience Reviews

Ploydsge just watch it!
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Bessie Smyth Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
phil_seah I've watched every single episode and this show has been with me through so many developments in my life, from starting a new career, a relationship to marriage to the end of the relationship. It has been like a family friend that I could go visit once a week to escape and have a good laugh and feel good about life. I will miss Mike, Frankie, Axl, Sue and Brick. God bless!
hoboss-511-909039 It was one worthy show. It's been long years with you guys. I am kind of sad.Best wishes from Germany.
wackykathy This show represents middle class American families - our homes aren't perfectly decorated or maintained, our parenting isn't always what it should be, our family members are unique, and we're just trying to get through the day. And life is pretty sweet just the way it is! It's a funny, charming and heart warming show. Our family always relates to it and we appreciate that it's a clean show that we can all watch together - teens and parents. But do be warned, middle class America enjoys beer; characters in the show will imbibe, in case you find that inappropriate. The acting is spot on and the ensemble is perfect.
charlesvine-75968 The Brickster! Brick is the goofball character that makes The Middle worth watching. You gotta love his amusing idiosynchrosies like looking down at his feet and repeating some key word or phrase from his last sentence or looking up in the air sporadically and saying "Whoop". Of course, Brick has no real friends ("Books are my friends", he says) and is a supposed genius. The Reverend Tim Tom is another unusual goofball who travels around with a guitar playing sophomoric songs that contain important life lessons.Sue Sue, the daughter, with her giant braces has the worst luck in the world but somehow always remains optimistic.Axl, the oldest son, (what kinds of parents name their kids Brick, Axl and Sue Sue, anyway?) is the family slacker. All in all, The Middle is a pleasant, but quirky, sitcom that can hold your interest when there's not much else to do. That might sound like a backhanded compliment but compared to most of the trash that is on television these days this show is top notch!
