Dominion Audience Reviews

Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
slashum999 . I'm so tired of watching these new shows, getting invested in them, only to have them canceled without any kind of conclusion. It seems to be happening more and more. I'm at the point where I don't think I will bother watching any new show until there is at least 3 or 4 seasons that have been completed. I would rather binge watch them without commercials anyway.I can list a ton of shows that I really enjoyed, and they simply pull the plug without any attempt to give us some closure. Dominion is another example of this. I agree, that the second season was a bit of a mess, but it was still a good show, and it looked like it was about to get really good again. However, if they wanted to cancel it, fine, but for the love of all that is holy, they could have given us a couple more shows, and attempt to give us some closure.Yup, I don't think I will start watching any new shows, unless they have a few season under their belt now. Especially if it is a SyFy show.
Wouter van den Bosch Better late then never :Sad thing that they canceled this show. It had so much potential... Great story line with unsuspected plot twists. In these times predictable shows are almost a rule... One I do not like! There are so many predictable (bad) shows on air these days.. It was good to finally see 1 that wasn't. I really had to watch in order to keep up. Most series I can semi watch and do something else while I'm "watching" (you wouldn't miss much in 99% of the shows) but I couldn't with this one. But it got canceled...Really they should fire the guy that canceled this show! Especially because of the time they canceled it. The nice thing to do was, let them make an end to the story! Even if they had to rush 3 seasons in to 1 to make an end, it would be better then to simply stop.To the guy who canceled this show : You suck BIGG time! Money isn't everything! A great show does more then just generate money!!In short, this is a great fictional show about heaven, earth and hell, all mixed and placed on earth by a great story teller with a fast amount of imagination!I really liked it.
Jenny Trout I loved Legion, and was disappointed when there weren't any sequels and not much fan fiction. I heard about Dominion and I was like, "Huh. That sounds like Legion." I was so thrilled to see that it was a continuation of the story! While I really enjoyed season one, season two is where it has really cemented my enthusiasm. There have been episodes that were so intense, I've gotten online to check if they were the season finale. Dominion is one of the best, if not the best, new fantasy shows in recent years. And it's one of the few shows I'll willingly spend money on (I don't have cable, so I pay for the episodes via Amazon Prime season pass).
maren_myhre This is one of the best series I have ever watched. Legion is a great movie, but you end up wanting more - what happened after? - and watching that grow into this deep and complex series.. I absolutely love it. Passion, love, hate, hopelessness, blind rage, compassion, it's such a wide range of emotions involved here. Watching the characters grow and develop - working on their different agendas, learning more and more about how this post-apocalyptic world works, exploring other cities such as New Delphi and Mallory, and how each town dealt with the aftermath of the first part of the war in different ways. The acting is amazing, the attention to detail, the costumes and makeup, the filming, and the cgi is just awesome. I love the wings! It's also really interesting how the creators of the series had their own takes on biblical events. The story of David for example - how him being murdered was what lead Gabriel to losing his love for humans. We get to see a whole other side of him, and - at least for me - that changed the way I felt about Gabriel for the better. Season two has a much more serious tone to it, and is a lot darker than the first. I love how we get to see flashbacks from biblical times, with Michael and Gabriel, and get to know their stories. Season two is where you really get to know the characters in such a deeper, darker way than the first season.I honestly don't understand where the bad reviews come from, but most of them seem to have been written by religious people offended by "angels being bad". All I can say is that I really hope newcomers don't just read those reviews and leave. I hope you take the time to watch the series, and form your own opinion. It would be such a shame to see a series with this much potential to run for a long time just be cancelled. Each episode is better than the last, and it keeps you hooked! I can't wait to see the last episodes of season two. Fingers crossed for season 3 +++++
