Power Audience Reviews

TrueJoshNight Truly Dreadful Film
Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
tjbattaglia Such and amazing show! Season 5 just started ands it's epic! I hope there is a season 6 to
Exceptia The first two seasons were enjoyable, pretty good plot, interesting characters. I mean, if you don't take it too seriously, you'll like it. Things start to get a bit exaggerated with season 3 and the plot is not credible anymore. I almost gave up on the final episodes of season 3, watching some scenes like "really bro?".50 cent developed his character with every episode and I think he gave a really good performance (surprisingly). He brought me to a point in which I was pretty intimidated by him, so I guess he did his job right. Some characters are great and enjoyable to watch (Kanan, Tommy, Lobos), but some are not that great, even annoying at times (Tariq, Angela, even Tasha in some points). Its how it goes with this show - ups and downs.Bearable series all in all, gets a pass from me.
zircosil I am only two episodes in, this show has some good bones. The main protagonist seems to be an interesting character, the story lines seem pretty solid and there is a reasonable supporting cast. There are two minor bugbears that I have:1. The use of English/Spanish is pretty ridiculous. One character may talk to another in Spanish, get a reply in English, talk in English, then the other character finishes off talking in Spanish. This is distracting and annoying.2. Music in the nightclub scenes is far too loud, drowning out the voices and causing to adjust the sound volume up and down. I will definitely see out the first season.
sophb3 So I started watching this with high expectations, I had many recommendations from friends. I blitzed through the first season and thought it was good, not amazing but very watchable. I then found myself hating the 2 main characters (Ghost and Angela) which then in turn made me hate the show. When you start to hate a show for those reasons then you start picking up on the flaws. For me, every twist and turn in the story line that everyone is like 'woooow that's madness' made me go 'meh, I kinda saw it coming'. However I powered on (pun intended) and forced myself to watch till mid-end of season 3 before I had enough. They kill off characters so quickly that you're stuck with connecting with the 5 main characters (Ghost, Angela, Tasha, Tommy and 50 Cent's character), and when you hate 2 out of 5 of those people and not particularly invested in the others, it's bad viewing. Visually it's fine, good settings etc. If you're planning to watch it with parents, don't - there is A LOT of sexual scenes in it which can make for uncomfortable viewing. I learnt that the hard way by watching it at work on my desktop.. Acting is okay - again, meh. Content is dragged out and ripped off from previous, better series of similar topics. So yeah, all in all, not something to recommend to a friend in my opinion.
