Booster

After everything that happened with the VRA, Lois tells Clark it’s best to make “Clark Kent” forgettable and awkward so people don’t suspect he’s The Blur. However, the two are stunned when a fame-hungry superhero from the future, Booster Gold, sweeps into town and begins making saves and posing for press ops, completely winning over the city of Metropolis. Booster begins his campaign to take The Blur’s place as the “World’s Greatest Superhero” and tries to charm Lois into writing a story about him, but she’s not having his antics and begins her own campaign for The Blur. During one of Booster’s saves, an alien weapon in the form of a scarab falls from a truck and fuses itself to a boy named Jaime Reyes, turning him into the Blue Beetle. Unfortunately, Jaime is unable to control the suit and Blue Beetle starts attacking Metropolis.

Smallville Audience Reviews

Majorthebys Charming and brutal
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
caw-04928 I caught this on dvd while in Iraq binged watched on leave it was one of the best t.v. shows at that time. I was later in all the myspace fan groups yeah i watched it that long ago. My 2 complaints are he never flys as super man and no tights it turns out the writers never wanted the show to be about that so stars off for that choice. I still have screen caps from the various dvds on hdds probably hundreds. I was very into it thinking he would fly for real but no. Tom welling has moved onto shows like Lucifer and Kirsten (Burden of Truth) (who I had the biggest crush on) has moved on as well but this show will always be with me. In other news Allison Mack was arrested for a number of federal offenses by the FBI she likely won't be playing anything as good as Chloe anytime soon.
bcm873 The start of the great DC CW shows on tv. I still watch the show. Miss the show making new ones.
Smoreni Zmaj My DC adaptations marathon came to Smallville, one of few shows I ever saw completely and even fewer I wanna see again. I just finished rewatching of the first season that shows high-school days of Clark Kent. Tom Welling is great playing young Clark who gradually discovers his abilities and tries to juggle between normal teen life and hiding the fact he's an alien. In first season he discovers his inhuman strength and speed, then he gradually discovers extent of his invulnerability and at the end he finds out about his X-Ray vision. The rest of his powers will come in seasons to follow. Here we meet Lex Luthor, Clark's best friend, who changes into villain in front of our eyes, partially because of his egomaniac father and partially because of distrustful treatment from everyone around him, caused by his wealth and infamous family name. There's also beautiful Kristin Kreuk, playing Lana Lang, Clark's unrealized love, and many more talented young actors. But the most impressive of all is John Glover, playing Lionel Luthor, Lex's father and main villain. Story combines typical teenage show with superhero elements, which slowly grow from season to season until they completely take over the show and change it beyond recognition. But for now special effects are at minimum and show is more teen romance drama than story about Superman. It may not be the best, but it's certainly my favorite DC show so far.7,5/10
Shinedowness I felt like this show was too slow in getting Clark from being the infamous Kansas boy to being the popular Man of Steel. Too much soap opera love and some soap opera drama that I disapproved of. Otherwise, Michael Rosenbaum got my attention more than Tom Welling did. Lex Luthor was bullied by Clark Kent himself with Clark's rude half smirk. Lex's love life was never easy. His father also happened to be a madman that was cool and distant to his only son. Poor man. Besides that craziness, the plots were entertaining before I lost interest in watching more Smallville episodes after season 5.
