Mr. Djelo Jusic (1939 – 2019) was a composer, musician, conductor, arranger and lyricist. He founded the choir Mali raspjevani Dubrovnik, which has been active for 50 years. He has written music for theater, ballet, movies, TV series and shows.
Sour Lake
Inspired by the name of an oil town in Texas, Sour Lake was the name given by Texaco in the sixties to a small town in the Ecuadorian jungle, known in Spanish as Lago Agrio. This name underlies the framework that builds the film: from the surroundings of this city to the Colombian Andes, where the jungle vegetation merges with the mountains.

Play writer and stage and film actor Miguel Franco (1918-1988) "narrates" his biography via a selection (by Miguel Cardoso) of his literary texts, newspaper chronicles, interviews and private letters, over images from his personal archive of 8 e Super 8 mm with additional images from the 16 mm news archive from the national TV broadcaster about some of of his theatrical works. The choice of music that underlines the scenes was made from Miguel Franco's favorite music pieces.

Labour/Leisure
The Okanagan Valley in the southern interior of British Columbia is marketed as a destination of leisure, recreation, retirement and wealth. Behind this facade is a largely invisible agricultural labour force, comprised of temporary migrant workers from the Global South. These workers are placed in a system that is inherently precarious and potentially exploitative, wherein their legal status is tied directly to their employer, with no path to permanent citizenship. While the workers pay into Canadian health care and pension plans, they do not benefit from these social goods as temporary citizens. This film aims to make this labour visible, while contemplating the prescribed aesthetics imposed on the landscape within the region. Formally, the film resides at the intersection of photography and the moving image, while embracing the generative structural limitations of early cinema.
Personal Growth
"Personal Growth" is a Super-8 film work, an enigmatic, fragmented piece that could have been filmed at any point in the past sixty years. It conveys the haunting charge of a privately made home movie of great significance to its creators but unsettlingly mysterious to viewers. Its grainy, black and white texture vividly renders the elemental coastal seascapes where it was filmed. Langan & Le Cain appear as a couple who inhabit this wild terrain as if it were a domestic arena.
Petting Zoo
In 1974, a local TV news station crew came into the filmmaker Daniel Robin’s home during the Rosh Hashanah celebration to document it and learn about Jewish rituals. A narrative begins with the formation of American-Jewish identity. But then the director of this unexpected autobiography draws an analogy with the current rise in anti-Semitism and nationalism. He believes that in the United States the attitude towards unfamiliar cultures resembles the one people take towards animals in petting zoos, where one can safely touch and pet them.

Status and Terrain
When first viewing Zustand und Gelände, we might be under the impression it belongs to a well-known tradition of historical documentaries. Long shots, extremely slow all-round views, steady panning: the image patiently describes a series of urban sites and landscapes of the former German Democratic Republic (Saxony and Thuringia). Through highly elaborate arrangements of archives from different sources (police reports, survivors’ testimonies, administrative correspondence, and more), an o -screen voice establishes what these places set the stage for in March 1933: the Nazi concentration system and an elimination regime of all political opposition. Especially noteworthy, in this film, is the extremely attentive channelling towards still unknown times and geographies of the horror Hitler inflicted on the first victims: people with sympathies for communism, activists, trade unionists, socio-democratic journalists, and so on.

“VIVA” is the sixth DVD of the Brazilian singer Luan Santana. It was released on August 23, 2019 exclusively on Globoplay. This is the first music content to be part of the platform's catalog through a partnership with Som Livre. Luan was the artist who inaugurated the "Music" category within the service. The show was recorded in May 2019, in Salvador, Bahia, to an audience of over 20 thousand people. In addition to the presentation, with a setlist formed with hits and new songs, the project features backstage scenes where details of the project are shown, as well as curiosities and interviews.

The shaman began his journey alone, but soon his followers began to join him. In Chita, he gathered a large rally. Buryatia was the next region on the path of Gabyshev: mass protests began in Ulan-Ude because of the detention of his supporters. Gabyshev was going to go to Moscow for two years - so as not to rush to communicate along the way with the people. The shaman and his followers moved along the roads, overcame an average of 20 kilometers per day, stayed for the night in tents, sometimes in roadside hotels. Local residents and people passing by went to talk to him, take pictures, help with groceries and money.
