C3 is an Evangelical church that opened in Toronto in 2013, quickly amassing a large following amongst the city’s young, hip and tattooed. #BLESSED offers an intimate look inside this fast-growing millennial church and follows the process of selling salvation in the 21st century as Pastor Sam and his team grow the church from two locations to three, living out their mission to save as many Torontonian souls as possible.

Almost forty years after the events, Dalmiro, Elena and their two youngest children, Javier and María Elena, tell what they could not say at the time, in an attempt to follow Fabián's footsteps and put into words the anguish and pain that still remain.
The Okrestin Sisters
The Okrestin Sisters is a Belarus Free Theatre (BFT) and Creatives Politics Hub production, shot and directed by a film-maker and BFT ensemble member, Kolya Kuprich. This short captures the first moments upon the release and the immediate witness accounts of three BFT members who were arrested in Minks on August 9th 2020, following the Presidential Election. BFT's General Managers, Nadia Brodskaya and Svetlana Sugako, along with the BFT actor Dasha Andreyanova were rounded up and detained while peacefully waiting for the results of the election at a local polling station. What followed their detention, was a surreal cascade of a Kafkaesque, bureaucratic judiciary system met by brutal, Gestapo-type assault on innocent citizens of Belarus. All happening away from the cameras, behind closed doors, inside authoritarian prisons. The creators of the film want the shed light on what took place in Belarusian prisons during the detentions of August 9-14.

After almost 40 years, one of the policemen involved broke the pact of silence they had made the night of the killing, revealing the participation of the Paper Manufacturing Company (CMPC) in the murder. Today, the case is still open and awaiting sentence.

When Ahmad’s life comes under threat by the Taliban in Afghanistan, he leaves his family behind for survival, without saying good bye, and ends up in Europe’s worst Refugee Detention Camp, Moria. Ahmad joins forces with Canadian filmmaker Jawad Mir (Only 78), to document his journey in the detention centre, with hopes he will eventually be granted asylum in Europe or Canada. Through the stress of leaving his family, and the anxiety of not knowing how many years it will take, Ahmad strives to maintain his determination while making the lives of those around him better if he can.

On March 16, 2020, in Brasília, an anonymous and unknown Haitian challenged the head of the nation: “Bolsonaro, it’s over. You are not president anymore.” This film poem counterpoints this situation with two military operations of Minustah (United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti), commanded by Brazil, on july 6, 2005, and december 22, 2006, in Cité Soleil.

The Jump
In the Cold War years of the 1970s, an American patrol boat meets a Soviet ship off the east coast of the United States for talks about fishing rights in the Atlantic.
