An Exercise In Nonsense
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
I went to a free screening and demanded a refund.I was so long ago And it haunts me still. Seriously Don't.I mean it The first was OK.. But this.I mean, it had a sub plot about some dogs.. And there was some pink clothing.I'm sorry. I watched most of it through my fingers.I warn everyone about this movie.I hope you heed mine. Please beware my warning. You cannot Unsee this horror..Turn back while you still can.
Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde is the sequel to the 2001 film, Legally Blonde. It features Reese Witherspoon once again as Elle Woods together with Luke Wilson, Sally Field, Regina King, Bruce McGill, and Bob Newhart. This time,Elle Woods heads to Capitol Hill to fight for her cause before Congress. She runs into plenty of adversity and red-tape and can't seem to find anyone who will listen to her proposals. While staying at the Watergate hotel though, she meets and befriends an elderly bellman who's been around politicians long enough to know the ins and outs of the political machine. With his help, Elle attempts to convince disillusioned U.S. Representative Rudd to help her get her voice heard in front of the stodgy old coots of the legislative branch.Once again,Reese Witherspoon is a delight on the big screen. She is charming and provides another commendable performance as Elle Woods as she was confident and charming as she introduced blonde politics. It was just unfortunate that the humor does not provide better laughs unlike the first film due its lame and lazy script. Too bad that her performance alone could not carry the film due to its poor screenplay. If blonde politics provided great humor,it would have been bigger than Reese's big hit,Sweet Home Alabama.
''Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde'' really disappointed me. After watching the movie ''Legally Blonde'', I liked it so much that I immediately saw the sequel: ''Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde''. And when the movie started, it felt interesting, but near the middle of the movie, it felt too boring and completely uninteresting. The sequel didn't make me laugh. However, I'd like to praise the performance of ReeseWitherspoon. It's only because of Reese that we keep watching the movie until it's end. Like other movies, Reese gave an excellent performance in this movie as well. However, this movie is not completely ''bad'', but it's not as interesting as the first one. I'd like to give ''Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde'': 7 out of 10.
Reese Witherspoon again stars as Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde," a 2003 sequel to the highly successful "Legally Blonde." A mistake."Legally Blonde" turned the old in crowd/out crowd story on its ear, with a pretty, shallow young woman, Elle Woods, from the "in crowd" who feels inadequate, applies herself, and graduates from Harvard, all the time using her vivacious personality and pink accessories while living in the nerd world. LB 2 starts on a preposterous premise of Elle trying to find her dog Bruiser's mother so that mother and son can attend her wedding. Bruiser's mom turns up as a cosmetics lab, and Elle takes the fight to end animal testing on cosmetics to Washington.Witherspoon is a wonderful actress and in Elle, creates a great personality, but she can't save this thing. It's great to have a feature film focused on the issue of cosmetics testing in animals, but it hardly matters because of the poor script.People always say no one starts out to make a bad film. I honestly don't think the idea of a bad film ever comes up. I think it's more honest to say that no one starts out to make a film that they don't think will make money, and hang the script, especially if it's on the coattails of a previous hit.
