You won't be disappointed!

Best movie of this year hands down!

It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

FBI agents Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) and Tom Lone (Terry Chen) take on the Yakuza. Tom thinks he shot infamous assassin Rogue (Jet Li) but Rogue returns to massacre him and his family. Three years later, Rogue resurfaces working for Triad boss Li Chang (John Lone) against his former employers, the Yakuza. Jack is now the head of the FBI Asian Crime Task Force and divorced from his wife Jenny (Andrea Roth). Yakuza head sends his daughter Kira (Devon Aoki) to handle an important deal in San Francisco.Philip G. Atwell is more of a music video director. He needs to do a few more of these films before he can get a handle on this. It's a lot of flash and a lot of pose acting in the place of real tension and intensity. The action is good at times but not great. It's not wild enough to be crazy. Jason Statham is trying his best and Jet Li keeps up even with his limited English. Atwell just doesn't have the skills yet. It's a good first effort.

When War came out, it was pretty much a flop!I don't know how though, with superstars Jet Li and Jason Statham, along with a host of other well known faces, plenty of action and a dark plot of revenge and dirty cops.I didn't really like it upon its release, all but a few fights that come about eventually, and still after re-watching it a number of years later, I still can't seem to find a spot for it!Its not that anything in particular is wrong with it, its just that there is something so unappealing that just does't seem to carry the wow factor like most of said stars other films do.The actors are great, the action is great, the plot okay. But something is missing that makes this probably the weaker one of the Statham/Li action flicks, which is a shame really.One watch is enough, but it does nothing to bring you back!

If the ending of this movie was somewhat different with happy ending, then It would have been a much better story, it would have been very satisfying one. The story with all the actions and allot of twists in betrayal and double standards and revenge are great. It does portray about crooked law enforcers and aftermaths. Martial Arts is really well played and exotic cars and charisma. This movie was really good with all the suspense and action and I was about to rate it 9 over10 but the story although was mystery which was great also and allot of excitements.. But the ending of the story killed it….was very lame it ruined the ending… it made me rate it down to 6 over 10
