Nemi, the King of Ayodhya, has three queens: Kaushalya, Sumitra and Kaikayi. During a formidable war, Kaikayi saves Nemi's life. In gratitude, Nemi who is awarded the title of "Dashrath" by now, grants Kaikayi two boons.
On a hunting expedition, Dashrath kills Shravan by mistake. His grief-stricken parents curse Dashrath with separation from his own son. In Lanka, Ravan performs austerities and turning into a formidable beast captures the throne of Kuber.
Lord Ram is born as Ayodhya celebrates in joy. Lord Vishnu manifests His four-handed form to Kaushalya and reveals to her the truth about her past life. In Mithila, Janak and his countrymen discover a divine child, Sita. Lord Ram and His brothers please Their parents with childhood pastimes. They are sent to Gurukul in pursuit of Their formal education.
Chronicles the time spent by the princes of Ayodhya at Gurukul. Sita comes of age, and engages in a verbal duel with maestra Gargi. Ravan and Kumbhkaran disrupt sacrificial performances and perpetrate violence against the sages.
The princes of Ayodhya return from Gurukul. Dashrath and his queens are ecstatic and the kingdom erupts in joy. Devi Sita discusses the prospect of marriage with Gargi. Sage Vishwamitra makes a request to Dashrath leaving him distressed.
Kaikayi counsels Dasharath about sending his sons abroad for better learning prospects about the administration and role of a King, to his utter disappointment. Bharat and Shatrughna leave for Kaikeya. Sage Vishwamitra arrives at Ayodhya and asks for some aid leaving Dasharath anxious. In Mithila, King Janak announces Sita's Husband-Choosing Ceremony. Lord Ram prepares to leave Ayodhya.
Lord Ram and Laxman accompany Vishwamitra. They walk through the forests as Vishwamitra imparts valuable lessons to them. Sita and sisters contemplate about marriage. Ravan captures Mandodri and subdues the demigods.
The demoness Tadaka confronts Lord Ram and Laxman. Sage Vishwamitra discloses her past as a Yakshini. Lord Ram finally kills her and awards her liberation. Subahu and Maricha, Tadaka's sons, mourn her demise and pledge vengeance.
Ram and Sita meet at a temple. At her swayamvar, many princes fail a test with a bow. Vishwamitra brings Ram, who succeeds at the test and marries Sita.
Vishwamitra allows Rama to try stringing Shiva's bow at Sita's wedding. Rama easily lifts and strings the bow but it breaks. Sita prepares to wed Rama when Parashurama angrily enters over the broken bow.
Ram resolves the conflict with Parasuram. Sita garlands Ram. The news of Ram's victory reaches Ayodhya. Dashrath prepares to leave for Mithila. Kaikayi expresses her desire to join the ceremony but Dashrath declines.
Shri Ram entrusts Lord Vishnu's bow to Varun Dev for safekeeping. Later, Bharat and Shatrughna arrive in Mithila for the wedding.
Lord Shiva, Devi Parvati, and the other deities decide to attend Shri Ram and Mata Sita's wedding. Meanwhile, Dasharatha discusses the marriage of his three sons with King Janak's three daughters.
Lord Shiva advises that the marriage of all four princes should be kept on the same day. King Janak is upset about being separated from his daughters after marriage. Later, Shri Ram and Mata Sita perform a ritual together.
Lord Ram and Mata Sita perform the "Sthamba Pooja" in the auspicious presence of demigods and Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. The remover of obstacles, Lord Ganesh is invoked to bless the occasion by His august presence.
The rituals before the marriage ceremony are concluded. Lord Shiva and Ram engage in a discourse about household life and renunciation. Sita is charmed by Ram's veneration for Her father and family. The wedding ceremony commences.
The marriage ceremony takes place. Sita and Ram take vows and circum-ambulate the sacred fire.
Ram and Sita take blessings from their parents after their marriage. Sita and her family members get emotional during her and her sisters' Vidai. Meanwhile, Kaikeyi finds out about her son Bharat's marriage.
Shri Ram, Mata Sita and the others return to Ayodhya after their marriage. Later, Mata Sita completes her Griha Pravesh and performs the ring-finding ritual with Shri Ram.
Ram and Sita tour around Ayodhya making good connection with their subjects. Yudhajit arrives on Kaikayi's invitation and proposes to take Bharat to Kaikeya for administrative training. Dasharath and Kaikayi have an emotional fall out.
Bharat and Shatrughna return to Kekeya after their marriage. Dasharatha decides to name Shri Ram as the next king of Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Manthara tries to turn Kaikeyi against Shri Ram.
Sita finds out that Shri Ram has been named the next king of Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Kaikeyi wants to meet Dasharatha in person to redeem her two wishes.
Dasharatha is deeply wounded after listening to Kaikeyi's demands. Shri Ram gets the news that Dasharatha is unwell, and he leaves his coronation ceremony to meet him. Later, Kaikeyi tells Shri Ram about her demands.
Shri Ram happily accepts the two demands made by Kaikeyi. Later, Shri Ram tells Mata Sita and Kausalya that he has given up the throne of Ayodhya in favour of Bharat.
Sita requests Ram to take her with him for the exile. She also convinces Kaushalya. Laxman is angry over Dasharath and Kaikayi, and expresses his own desire to join Ram and Sita on the exile.
Lakshman requests to join Shri Ram in exile. Shri Ram instructs Lakshman to first seek consent from his wife Urmila. Kaikeyi commands Shri Ram to wear saffron robes when departing Ayodhya.
Shri Ram, Lakshman, and Sita leave all their royal possessions behind and don their 'bhagwa' clothing. Meanwhile, the people of Ayodhya protest against Shri Ram's Vanvas and try to stop him from leaving.
The citizens of Ayodhya are not willing to let Shri Ram leave them. Meanwhile, Ravan decides to take revenge against Vidyutjiva along with his son, Meghanada.
The citizens of Ayodhya stop Shri Ram's chariot and insist on accompanying Shri Ram for the Vanvas. Meanwhile, Ravan instructs Meghanada to accompany him to Pataal Lok.
Shri Ram is greeted by Nishadraj Guha, the king of the tribals, on the banks of the river Ganga. Meanwhile, Ravan and Meghanada take Sulochana's help to enter Pataal Lok, but Varun Dev stands in their way.

Lord Hanuman and his group reach the coast, but they have no means of travelling across the ocean and finding the location of Lanka. Meanwhile, Shri Ram gets information about Bharat from Ayodhya.
Jambavan helps Lord Hanuman recall his true power by narrating the story of his life. Meanwhile, Sugriva shows Shri Ram the stone idol Lord Hanuman had built for him.
Jambavan continues to narrate the story of Lord Hanuman's childhood. While playing with his friends, a young Maruti mistakes the sun for a fruit and leaps towards the sky to pluck it. Lord Indra tries to stop Maruti, but he is not willing to listen.
Lord Brahma brings Maruti back to life, and all the Devtas give him their blessings. Lord Indra gives Maruti the title of Hanuman. Later, young Lord Hanuman meets Surya Dev and wants to become his student.
Young Lord Hanuman frequently troubles a group of Rishis and causes hindrances in their Yagyas. In response, the Rishis curse Lord Hanuman to forget all of his powers. With Jambavan's help, Lord Hanuman reawakens all of his dormant powers and makes his way towards Lanka.
Varun Dev tries to create hindrances for Lord Hanuman to prevent him from reaching Lanka. Meanwhile, Akshayakumara arrives in Ashok Vatika with a threatening message for Mata Sita.
Lord Hanuman continues to make his way to Lanka, but Naag Mata Surasa blocks his way. Meanwhile, Akshayakumara forbids everyone from bringing any food or water for Mata Sita.
Lord Hanuman is stopped in his tracks by the demoness Simhika, who captures his shadow with her magic. However, Lord Hanuman defeats her with his unimaginable strength. Upon reaching Lanka, Lord Hanuman shrinks in size to sneak past Lankini, who is guarding the main gates.
Lankini catches Lord Hanuman as he tries to sneak inside Lanka. However, Lord Hanuman defeats her and helps her attain Moksha. Meanwhile, Mandodari pays a visit to Mata Sita in Ashok Vatika.
Vibhishan tells Lord Hanuman the location where Mata Sita is being held. Meanwhile, Ravan confronts Mandodari about helping Mata Sita.
Ravan arrives in Ashok Vatika and gives Mata Sita a marriage offer once again. Lord Hanuman is unable to step in and defend Mata Sita due to the promise he made to Shri Ram.
Lord Hanuman appears before Mata Sita to give her Shri Ram's message. Mata Sita gives Lord Hanuman some vital information about Ravan's military strength. Meanwhile, Ravan tells Akshayakumara the story of the curse given to him by Nalakuvara.
Lord Hanuman decides to cause chaos in Ashok Vatika to gain Ravan's attention. Ravan finds out about Lord Hanuman's actions, and he sends one of his generals to deal with the situation.
Lord Hanuman defeats the soldiers sent by Ravan with ease. In retaliation, Ravan sends Akshayakumara to deal with the situation in Ashok Vatika.
Lord Hanuman defeats Akshayakumara. Later, Meghanada arrives in Ashok Vatika to face off against Lord Hanuman.
Meghanada captures Lord Hanuman and takes him to Ravan. Lord Hanuman gives Ravan a chance to right his wrongs and respectfully return Mata Sita to Shri Ram.
