Synopsis
It's all about turning piles of rusting junk into a money making machine. To make this happen, Andy Cohen has to be a scrappy, ambitious leader who balances his own pie-in-the-sky drive with his father's down-to-earth perspective. For the day-to-day work, he's backed up by a group of talented, but not exactly mainstream, characters. And to succeed as a team, they all have to find the proverbial diamonds in the rough, chase down deals, and add value to what others throw away--it's not work, it's the hustle.

Scrapheap Challenge is an engineering game show produced by RDF Media and broadcast on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. In the show, teams of contestants had 10 hours in which to build a working machine that could do a specific task, using materials available in a scrapheap. The format was exported to the United States, where it was known as Junkyard Wars. The US show was also produced by RDF Media, and was originally shown on The Learning Channel. Repeats have aired on another Discovery network, the Science Channel.
Trick It Out
Trick It Out: MTV's Tuner Challenge, is an MTV reality television show focusing on automobile modification. The show airs primarily on MTV2 and is hosted by award-winning car tuner, RJ de Vera, and narrated by MTV news personality, Sway Calloway.
The show is a tournament-style competition to find out who is the "most creative, resourceful, and ingenious Tuner in the nation". Each crew of four Tuners from rival car modification shops in Southern California gets a similar car to start with, 14 days, and $15,000 to do their very best cosmetic work. In the end, the teams are judged by de Vera on criteria such as craftsmanship, creativity, and the ability to have a theme. The winning crew gets to go home with their car, as well as the car of the losing team.

Maxie's World
Maxie's World is an animated cartoon series about a teenage girl named Maxie in Surfside High School in California. Maxie was a straight A student who produced and hosted her own TV show part time. Based on the "Maxie" line of fashion dolls from Hasbro, this show was broadcast in late '80s and early '90s syndicated to local stations in the United States, and in the UK on TV-am's Wacaday. The U.S. broadcast also included rebroadcasts of Beverly Hills Teens and It's Punky Brewster.
Produced for Hasbro by DIC Entertainment, the U.S. broadcast was syndicated by Claster Television, which was owned by Hasbro, the makers of the "Maxie" dolls. Because of this, Hasbro must give approval before any home video release of this series is made. It is unknown when, or if the series will be released on DVD.
