Plerngrit, or simply Plerng (played by Mario Maurer), is the only son of Pipat and Pongpaew, who lives in Ranong and does fishing for a living. Pipat is actually the eldest son of Khun Ying Tongtraa Chatayothin, the owner of Thai Diamonds Company, or Phet Thai. Twenty years back, Pipat fell in love with Pongpaew, a poor woman who Khun Ying Tongtraa despised. Pipat was given two choices: stay with his mother or leave the house and go with Pongpaew. He chose option number two and lived a peaceful life in Ranong with his family. For twenty years, Plerng’s parents hid the truth from him. However, one day, Khun Ying Tongtraa fell ill and ended up in the hospital requiring immediate heart transplant. The news spreaded throughout Thailand and reaches Pipat. Pipat finally decides to tell his son the truth and the family travels to Bangkok to visit Khun Ying Tongtraa in the hospital and apologize for his actions twenty years before. On the way, they get into a wreck and Plerng’s father dies on the scene. Plerng and his mother, Pongpaew ended up in the same hospital as Khun Ying Tongtraa. When Plerng was conscious, he learned that his father had passed away and his grandmother was at the same hospital. The doctor tells Plerng that his father is brain dead and will never wake up.Plerng didn’t want to see his father in that horrible situation so he decides to let his father go and donate his father’s heart to his grandmother. He made the decision alone because his mother was still in a coma. While at the hospital, Plerng meets his aunt Bussakon and uncle Niruj. His aunt Bussakon has two children: Anat and Naree. His uncle Niruj has a son named Chanon. Uncle Niruj and Chanon accepts the truth that Plerng is their relative but aunt Bussakon and her children do not like Plerng. They are jealous of Plerng and fear that one day, Plerng will come into the family and take over everything. For that reason, aunt Bussakon tricks Plerng and Niruj to hide the truth from Khun Ying Tongtraa about the heart transplant. When Plerng’s mother is finally conscious, she learns that her husband has passed away. Plerng also tells his mother about the heart transplant but his mother does not blame him. Since Plerng promised to hide the truth about his father’s heart, Plerng and his mother decides to leave the hospital without seeing Khun Ying Tongtraa. However, fate leads them to meet and before he knows it, Plerng finds himself living and working with his family under stressful conditions. When Khun Ying Tongtraa learns that her son is dead, she is very sad and blames Pongpaew for taking her son away forever. Plerng and his mother want to apologize to his grandmother but his grandmother would not listen. She refuses to forgive Pipat and Pongpaew. But, Plerng does not give up. Khun Ying Tongtraa uses his chance to allow Plerng to prove himself. Plerng’s father has 20% of the shares in Phet Thai. Unless Plerng can make the profits higher than his father’s shares within three months, his grandmother will not accept the apologies. So Plerng takes over his father’s position and bring up the sales in Phet Thai. With the help of the two sisters, Namfon and Sitha, and their mother, Khun Manmart; Plerng is only a few steps away from achieving his goal. As they spend a lot of time working with each other, Plerng gradually falls for Namfon while Namfon’s older sister, Sitha falls for Plerng. Chanon, on the other hand has a crush on Sitha. When he learns that Sitha loves Plerng, he respects her decision and tries to hold his feelings back. Will Chanon end up with Sitha? How will Khun Ying Tongtraa react when she learns that her heart donor is her own son? Tune in to Plerng Torranong to find out!

Desperate Scousewives
Desperate Scousewives
Desperate Scousewives was a British reality television series based in Liverpool. It premiered on E4 at 10:00pm on 28 November 2011. It ran for eight episodes before it was officially announced that the show had been cancelled due to stagnating ratings and a perceived lack of interest in cast members from viewers. The show gained favourable viewing figures for its first episode debuting with 500,000 viewers, 24% up on the E4 channel's slot average. However, episodes for the rest of the series were regularly below this figure and outside of the E4 Top 10 weekly rankings. The show's name is a play on words of the American comedy-drama Desperate Housewives and was said to be "Liverpool's answer to The Only Way Is Essex and Made in Chelsea". Repeats began airing on 4Music from 26 April 2012, sparking speculation from cast members that it may be a test run to recommission a new series on 4Music instead of E4. However, E4 reaffirmed their decision several times about the show's cancellation via their official Twitter page despite cast members continually claiming that a second series is in production.

Two Worlds
Two Worlds
Tawee Pope is famous. It is many people’s favorite lakorn. Every ‘older’ avid lakorn watcher knows of it. A present-day modernist nang’ek time-travels via a mirror to the past to meet old-fashy pra’ek. I myself have watched a bit of the 1994 original but do not recall anything of it aside from what I summarized in the sentence before. Therefore, I am unable to review Tawee Pope in comparison to its predecessor. When news came out of its remake, I was thrilled at the general storyline of “two worlds” bringing together two soul mates [more because of Om!], then disappointed that Pancake was the nang’ek, and as I watched it, I clearly became disappointed. Fans bashed the remake calling it an epic failure. I agree. Godninja boldy rates Tawee Pope with 2 stars. Since Tawee Pope lacked in the goodness department, I must mention my top five scenes: 1. [Scenes in this case] Whenever Khun Luang managed to crack smile or roll his eyes. If not for you, I would have been long gone. 2. Khun Luang (or was it Manee?) meekly confessed he likes her and they held hands. Such a little thing, but it was so cute. At this point, I was just begging for any hint of romance! 3. Khun Laung hugged Manee back when the mirror called her to return. After the first time, he was a selfish bastard. 4. Om Akapan took off this shirt for me! This was when Khun Luang had a brawl showdown with Arnus [don't recall this character name] as a diversion to get the letter. 5. The morning after ending of course! Pixs on top. So freaking jealous! I think that is all the nice stuff I can say about Tawee Pope, so there comes the hating. Number one thing that this lakorn killed was…it’s whole purpose. And if you don’t have a purpose, then you automatically fail. Simple as that. There was no significance to the time-traveling. There was no focus on the historical events which I thought was the point of Tawee Pope. The idea of Manee as a weapon of trickery to coax intelligence from the foreigners had so many possibility of epic plotline. Even though she manged to extract the ‘valuable’ info, they never showed how it was significant. Perhaps how it was used to counteract the imperialism or anything, really! Few more notable things to diss: Though according to character, Pancake over-acted, and even my Om bored me. You can’t be handsome forever, baby; I need some facial expressions. I wanted to rip off my laptop screen at the immense stupidity of Manee and the mirror. Mirror mirror on the wall, why can you let Manee bring in electric shavers but not a book. You want her to changed history, but you also limit her. This is the paradigm of time-traveling. And Manee, if you couldn’t bring the one important book, why the heck didn’t you just read it and remember it. I thought you were smart? Oh, I can’t forget the lack of romance. You made me angry too many times. Enough, I will only complain on one more point-the ending. Apparently in the original, the mom and the friends were able to come to the past. Okay, in this one, the mom appeared in the past, but she did nothing. Where’s the logic in that? What I would have loved was a little family tree or something at the end to know how their life went. How many kids they had, going to grandkids and so on the to present…then [I'm really am wishing too hard] goes to a single great great (whatever how many great) granddaughter. And then flash, we see Kul, Tron, and Raiwat meeting a descendent of Manee and Khun Luang. And because I felt so bad for Raiwat at the ending, he should get their descendent. Now this would have made up for all of the disappointments.
