Maternity
Maternité is a film about the fatigue of a mother of two small kids. The act of self-sacrifice for the sake of a child that absorbs all the time and leaves no space neither for consumption, nor for satisfactions or vanity, becomes a chance for a devoted woman in a state of the physical and emotional exhaustion to reach the transcendental state close to spiritual ecstasy. Lacking resources for a proper functioning, her organism starts disassociating information and enters into a seeming madness, when the brain is unable to control thought process as usual, and because of a total focus solely on a child, all the rest in the world ceases to be of any importance, freeing her from everything excessive and superfluous.
The Lost Colony of Roanoke
Near the end of the 16th century, more than 100 men, women, and children sailed across the Atlantic to establish the first permanent English colony in America. Three years later, the colony had disappeared. A secret message, carved into a tree, was one of the only clues left behind at the scene. Now, more than four centuries later, a recent discovery may finally shed some light on this age-old mystery.

Dewi also always awaits the presence of her brother, Nanan, who always comes at night when Dewi falls asleep, Nanan is unable to see Dewi suffer. Dewi is devastated when Dewi leaves and Ryan ends their relationship. The same feeling of loss makes Eva and Nanan close.

"CIVIL WAR SURVEILLANCE POEMS (Part 1)" is the first installment in a five-part project of experimental and hybrid-form short films contemplating a second American civil war via lyrical nonfiction, mixing call-in radio, twenty years of verité footage from the filmmaker's archive, and robots. Conceptually speculating from sixteen years in the future (and a protracted civil war), the project is partly nostalgic political travelogue, partly a quest to mine the archive for what went wrong, and part prewar surveillance records, the project deconstructs and builds to a clashing ideology, culminating in an installation of sound sculpture, four-walled video and artifacts.
