Low: Live At Colorado College
On the 5 Year Anniversary of KRCC’s foray into live concert events, the alternative rock band Low will be returning to play in Armstrong Hall on September 25th, 2011 at 7pm. Low was the first band KRCC Concerts booked as part of the station’s renewed commitment to live events in October of 2007.

Tegan & Sara: Get Along
The first film, States, is a 30-minute documentary that showcases American touring footage and interviews with Tegan and Sara, detailing the early stages of their career and interactions with their fans. The second film, India, is a 25-minute documentary shot during Tegan and Sara's tour of India, utilising interview footage with the band as well as their family and friends. The third film, For the Most Part, is a 70-minute stripped-down studio concert, shot before a live audience of 75 people over two days at The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.
Cendrillon
Massenet composed his opera about Cenerentola nearly 80 years after Rossini did his. And if you are looking for the outburst of the non-stop hilarity and the musical jokes of Rossini, you won't find it here. Also, while the Cendrillon was highly successful and popular in its time, it does not reach up to the artistic and musical levels offered by Massenet's other operas, like Manon, or Thais or Werther. Nevertheless, this is a delightful opera and it is well presented by The Royal Opera. Laurent Pelly created a ingenious setting with movable walls which are covered [in French] with the story of Cinderella, and which open and close book-like.

Jonathan Davis and the SFA : Live at The Union Chapel
This show is more of a tribute for the fans than any self-adulation on Davis’ part. It’s obvious form his voice when he speaks with the audience just how grateful he is to them, and just who it is he’s putting the show on for. The music reads like Davis’ personal selection of best-ofs, including several songs from ‘Queen of the Damned’ and ‘Spawn’ “Alone I Break”, one of Davis’ favourites, is a high point on the album, but of the 15 tracks on the ones I enjoy the most are “Last Legal Drug”, “Forsaken”, “Redeemer” and “Not Meant For Me.” This is a brilliant must-have for everyone who’s ever been a fan of Korn or Jonathan Davis as a singer and songwriter. From the gothic décor of the Union Chapel venue to the ornately carved throne Davis sat in for most of the performance, this was the perfect setting for the show.

Paris Opera Ballet: Tribute to Jerome Robbins
In 2008, the Opéra national de Paris honored the legendary Jerome Robbins. Though the general public may remember him primarily for his staging and choreography of Bernstein’s West Side Story, Robbins was also a brilliant ballet choreographer. In this production, we discover three of his works of classical ballet—En sol, In the Night, and The Concert—paired with Benjamin Millepied’s Triade.
Waylon Jennings: Live at the US Festival
Waylon Jennings appeared at the US Festival on June 4, 1983. It was billed as Country Day, with Waylon performing alongside such artists as Willie Nelson, Alabama, Hank Williams, Jr., and Emmylou Harris. Waylon's performance was one of the day's many highlights, and he is joined onstage by wife Jessi Colter for a particularly memorable rendition of 'Storms Never Last.' The US Festival was held over two weekends in 1982 and 1983.

Bloodbath: Bloodbath Over Bloodstock
Bloodbath is an extreme metal supergroup from Stockholm, Sweden. Formed in 1998 with a mutual fascination for the glory days of death metal, (especially Swedish legends such as Entombed & Dismember), the band’s core line-up has remained mostly solid through the years since their ‘Breeding Death’ EP was unleashed back in 2000. The programme was rounded off by late-Romantic masterpieces by César Franck, Antonín Dvo?ák and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Ninth Symphony under the baton of renowned maestro Neeme Järvi.

25 Commemorative Concert is the twentieth live album, produced by Christian singer Marcos Witt. The album was recorded live from Lakewood Church, in the city of Houston, Texas in the USA, on February 25, 2011 with more than 15 thousand people. The CD DVD went on sale on July 5, 2011. Over the years, the concert has become one of the most legendary in the history of Christian music and the artist's career.
Neal Morse: Testimony Two - Live in Los Angeles
With 2DVDs and 3CDs, Testimony 2 - Live in Los Angeles is Neal's most opulent live release as a solo musician. Both the DVDs and CDs capture the concert at the Whittier Community Center from May 28, 2011. The tour itself was Neal's biggest tour ever to date and, for the US gigs only, features the reunion of most of the musicians from the original Testimony band: Neal's 2011 album Testimony 2 - the sequel to Testimony (2003) - could thus be performed live in full length by some of Neal's longtime friends Mike Portnoy, Eric Brenton, Rick Altizer and Mark Leniger. Mike Portnoy's wish to "finally" perform some of the greatest longtracks of Neal's solo catalog on a stage could be fulfilled. Wonderful renditions of "The Separated Man" and "Seeds of Gold" are surely a highlight on this release.
