It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Live from Worcester, MAAttendance 11,592Your commentators are Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay & Bobby HeenanVince McMahon has a full-access pass, should he decide to show up at Slamboree.Television TitleChris Benoit Vs Fit FinlayBenoit gets a huge pop. Finlay wins after Booker T costs Benoit the match. Crowd is PISSE******* Solid opening bout and good continuation from Booker and Benoit. Really physical stuff. Ending was a bit deflating, though.*** out of 5Lex Luger Vs Brian AdamsI don't give a hoot about this match. Luger wins with The Rack. This did nothing for anybody and was pointless filler in the long run. Boring to boot.*1/4 out of 5Cruiserweight Title (Battle Royal) Chris Jericho hilariously does the introuctions. The participants are Super Calo, Chavo Guerrero, Ciclope, Damian, El Dandy, Juventud Guerrera, El Grio, Marty Jannetty, Evan Karagias,Kidman Lenny Lane, Psychosis, Silver King, Johnny Swinger, Villano IV. Ciclope wins the battle royal after Juvi eliminates himself. It's not Ciclope at all...it's DEAN MALENKO!!!! The crowd goes absolutely insane. One of the biggest pops in WCW history. Malenko becomes #1 contender.Cruiserweight TitleChris Jericho (C) Vs Dean MalenkoMalenko wins the title after making Jericho submit. Really good match and an amazing moment in WCW history. It's hard not to feel great for Malenko. Everything was done spectacular here. Unforgettable stuff.***1/2 out of 5They do a pointless "Vince Cam" thing. This was just a dig at Vince and the WWF. Bowery Death Cage Match DDP Vs RavenThe match is basically a cage filled with weapons in a Last Man Standing rules. The Flock tries to interfere, but former Flock member Van Hammer stops them. DDP wins with the Diamond Cutter. The last 10 minutes or so are good. The rest not so much. An interesting experiement that didn't fully succeed. The cool thing is Mortis returns and umasks. Chris Kanyon was born. **1/4 out of 5More Vince McMahon cam stuff. Eddie Guerrero Vs The Ultimo DragonIf The Dragon wins, Chavo gets his freedom. Eddie wins and Chavo takes his anger out on The Dragon after. Really enjoyable match here. Started off a bit slowly, but boy did it pick up. Great storytelling too.***1/4 out of 5United States TitleGoldberg (C) Vs SaturnGoldberg wins. He had a little bit of difficulty, but not much. Pretty ugly match to say the least. I like Goldberg, but he's limited.* out of 5Eric Bischoff Vs Vince McMahonVince never comes out of course. This was just a buisness ploy to try and get ppl to buy the PPV. It's a big waste of time. Randy Savage Vs Bret Hart'Rowdy' Roddy Piper is the guest referee. Bret wins after Hogan and Elizabeth interfere. This was disappointingly ugly. I only wish this took place a few years earlier when Savage wasn't so banged up. It's watchable, just not the greatest. Piper looks really stupid as well.*1/2 out of 5Tag Team TitlesThe Outsiders (C) Vs The Giant & StingNash was essentially a face and Sting is as well. The Giant had just turned heel and Hall was dealing with alcohol issues and nobody knew of his whereabouts. It was a big mess. Hall gets a huge pop. Hall stumbles, but I don't know if that's a put-on or not. Scott Hall betrays Kevin Nash. As a result The Giant & Sting become Tag Team Champions. Sting looks on distraught and confused. This was one giant turd. Hall turning heel was for the sake of shock value and nothing more. Didn't agree with it then, didn't agree with it now. Too many lame heel turns. Bret Hart, The Giant, Scott Hall. It's one of the reasons why WCW went down the toilet.* out of 5The PPV went downhill, ironically after the big main events came. Aside from that, I enjoyed quite a bit of this PPV...so I have to give it a fairly good rating. Jericho shines and Malenko's return is amazing.6.5/10

1. WCW World T.V. Title Match: Chris Benoit Vs. Champ-Fit Finlay - Good work, but I hate, how one of the best workers like Chris Benoit always job on PPV. 7.5/10 2. Brian Adams Vs. Lex Luger - Classic Luger Match. Stiffy as hell. 5.5/10 3. 15 cruiserweights Battle Royal - Won Dean Malenko dressed like Ciclope. 8/10 4. WCW Cruiserweight Title Match: Dean Malenko Vs. Champ-Chris Jericho - Loudest pop for Malenko's victory ever. 10/10 5. Cage Match: Diamond Dallas Page Vs. Raven - This time DDP won, but I still like Spring Stampede match more. 9/10 6. Ultimo Dragon Vs. Eddie Guerrero - Dragon is totally NOT with the crowd. I recognized he is great hard worker but little bit boring. - Eddie cleanly won and Chavo (Eddie's slave)turned on Dragon. That was...odd 6.5/10 7. WCW U.S. Heavyweight Title Match: Saturn Vs. Champ-GoldBerg - Good match but their previous was better. 8/10 8. Eric Bischoff Vs. Vince McMahon - Vinnie Mac didn't appear, so Bischoff get's a win. ?/10 9. Bret Hart Vs. Randy Savage - And Piper was referee. Bad as it can be. I don't like Savage and his matches in late 90's. The same brawling over and over again. Hit-man won 6.5/10 10. WCW World Tag Team Title Match: Sting/Giant Vs. Champs-Kevin Nash/Scott Hall - Strange booking you know that story, how Hall turned on Nash. 7/10
