A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
The Japanese are renowned for their bizarre sense of humour, and they don't come anymore bizarre than this one. A film production company is making a film about zombies, and real zombies are making inroads into substantial tranches of the population. That's about all you need to know, and even if it loses nothing in translation, which is extremely doubtful, about all you will be able to understand. On the plus side, if you like special effects, including blood, you might find "Zomvideo" mildly amusing. The soundtrack is both largely instrumental and distinctly superior, but when you've said that, you've said it all.
