Pretty Good
Best movie of this year hands down!
As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
The story starts off in Kurnool where Sita (Regina Cassandra) runs away from a marriage that she does not want. And off she goes to the US to marry her Facebook boyfriend. Like in all films, the FB boyfriend turns out to be a fraud and she ends up acting as the wife of Subramanyam (Sai Dharam Teja), thanks to a 'Best Couple' competition held by NRI Rajasekhar (Naga Babu). Brahmanandam gets to play Chintakay and the comedy king is as best as ever, though director Harish Shankar hasn't given him a big role. Highlights: Sai Dharam Teja's dances Drawbacks: Routine story Lack of novelty Excess length Mix of many movies. Right from the beginning, Sai Dharam Teja has mimicked either Chiranjeevi or Pawan Kalyan throughout the movie in an obvious attempt to satisfy the mega fans. So there is less creativity, more mass elements.
