SUNRISE PERFORMANCE - As a live debut of their newly released double LP Everyday Life, Coldplay have shared two performances from Amman, Jordan– one taking place at sunrise, and another at sunset. Staged atop the capital’s aged citadel, this set reflects the first halve of the new record. The sunrise performance kicked off at 4am GMT, with the city cloaked in grey clouds as the band whisked through each new track. For their performance of “Arabesque”, they were joined by Stromae, Femi Kuti, and a pack of sparkling horns.
Steve Hackett : Hungarian Horizons - Live in Budapest 2002
The 104 minute show was recorded at Budapest's Petofi Hall on 26th January 2002 and mixed in 5.1 surround format in Steve Hackett's own MAP studio. The setlist offers a variety of Steve's favourite acoustic material including selections from 'Bay of Kings', 'Momentum', 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'Sketches of Satie' together with unique acoustic arrangements of some of his band material and even one or two new and unreleased pieces. The Iron Maiden
The film follows Jack Hopkins, an aircraft designer with a passion for traction engines. His boss is eager to sell a new supersonic jet plane that Jack has designed to American millionaire Paul Fisher. The first encounter between Fisher and Jack goes badly, and tensions only heighten after Fisher's daughter Kathy damages Jack's prize traction engine "The Iron Maiden", rendering it impossible to drive solo. Jack is desperate to enter the annual Woburn Abbey steam rally with the machine, but his fireman is injured and unable to participate. When all seems lost the millionaire himself is won over by Jack's plight and joins him in driving the engine; the two soon become firm friends.

The Seventh Tour Of A Seventh Tour 1988. Maiden's biggest stage production yet! An ice cave with pyro a plenty to help capture the theme of the album. This has to be one of the best Maiden shows about. A really well captured keep sake of the '88 tour. The basic but effective filming helps keep you right in the thick of the action. An awesome (but edited for the release) set is on offer with the likes of Wasted Years, Still Life & Die with your boots on making a nice return to the set. The new material comes over really well too. Along with Live After Death, this really is ready for the DVD treatment soon. Its hard to believe that this tour was nearly 20 years ago! Eeek! They still wore spandex then and Bruce had long hair! Well worth getting for the collection. It shows how big they were back in the mid/late 80's... before grunge took over the world! Definitely up there with LAD... the only noticeable negative is that Janick had yet to join the band so the live antics are a little low key compared to anything from Donington '92 onwards. Still a superb gig.
