I gave Disasterpieces nine out of ten. Yet I think it deserved ten.The boring part: this is has a superb live show in London, and a collection of all (in 2002) their music videos. If you want the greatest live show on earth (Slipknot, obviously), you've got it here. If you want all their music videos (including the two Wait and Bleed videos and the director's cut of Left Behind) in one place, look no further. Now comes the interesting stuff (to me, at least). To anyone else, 2002 was just 5 years ago, but to Slipknot it's a lifetime ago. In an interview in 2004, Corey Taylor (singer) said that he couldn't watch Disasterpieces because he feared he would have a panic attack. Such is the intenseness of the Disasterpieces. You see, in the "Iowa period" things weren't going in the right direction. The backstage crew (most of which doesn't work for the band anymore) were working against Slipknot, not for them. Slipknot was, quite literally, on the highway to hell. By 2003, the members hated each other, and the world started chanting "the end of Slipknot" as if it were fact. And for the nine masked madmen, it did feel like it was over. True fact: when Corey decided to make "the call" (the "I'm quitting the band" call), the other line was busy. This is, to a certain degree, the reason why Slipknot is still around. All one has to do is watch Disasterpieces from beginning to end, and consider the aforementioned events, and they'll have a front-row seat view of the decline of music's most intense band. This is an utter must for any Slipknot fan, especially those who've already seen their latest DVD, because it chronicles the final part of the end of Slipknot, and is an important part of the band's history. In 2002, Disasterpieces sowed the seeds of Slipknot's destruction. In 2007, it sows the seeds of the destruction of a monster called Iowa, and the rise of god called Slipknot.

Im a huge fan of slipknot but i hadn't really got into them until IOWA came out. After i heard IOWA and had my ass kicked by the awesome tracks i decided to hear the first album which was still as good as IOWA. When The Subliminal verses came out i was stunned you could see how the band have evolved together with their songs. One of their best songs in my opinion is Duality but the whole album is fantastic. Most of the other albums had great songs still my favorite IE: Wait and Bleed, SPit it out, Liberate,Purity,Eyore, heretic anthem,Sic its safe to say i love all their songs lol. I had seen their video clips heaps of times and wondered if any concerts were around so i went looking and what did i find Disasterpieces. Now to be honest listening to their albums i would have expected a complete bad ass concert and it was better than that it was F**KING AWESOME. Corey is an absolute gun and sounded great live, the band were nuts not to mention Sid jumping off of platforms and during heretic anthem while the fire and pyro is going off he stands in the middle of it. He's a nut case, Shawn and Chris on percussion were like machines the whole show.Joey like always is just one of the best I've seen on drums not much action from Craig on samples but u can still see him in the background keeping busy. Mick And James were great and the whole performance was 2nd to none. I highly recommend this to any Slipknot fan or anyone else who want's to see a bunch of 9 crazy guys do what they do best 10/10

Heavy Metal is defined in this concert that slipknot performed. The way the band started the show with people = S**t was what really got me hooked on this and was just the first song. Blasting out their early songs like spit it out and liberate shows that they can get a crowd to go ballistic. Corey Taylor's vocals and screams, Mick and Jim's Guitars, Paul's bass, Joey's solo, and Shawn,Sid,and Chris's crazy performances are some of the craziest things I have ever seen. Shawn Crahan's way of entertaining is amazing and the stage moves that Jim root was pulling off shows that you don't have to constantly stand still on stage. The pyro techniques of were set at the right moments and livened up the performance even more than it was. Slipknot was able to get to people in London to go crazy just goes to show that they are capable of getting any crowd in any city to lose their minds. The final song to be played was just perfect and was as Corey said our new national anthem. This DVD sets Slipknot apart from all the poser bands.

This DVD takes you through an entire concert back to front, it is recorded and put together in such a way that I cannot describe. The producers should be congratulated on their efforts! The songs are mostly from the album IOWA. If you are a Slipknot fan then this is a MUST-SEE because it really is something unique!
