Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

If there is one thing you really have to appreciate is the use of slow motion and high speed cameras used in this. It is amazing and adds an element of concert style never used before. It definitely has a style that adds to the music. Not to mention they play a lot of their hits, and best songs, granted they don't play my all time favorite "Nobody's Listening" but they play the songs everyone knows so when you watch you can even sing along. and it makes it amazing. If your and LP fan this better be in your movie library, but if you like just a few of their songs, they might introduce you to one or tow that you might have overlooked, and would enjoy.

I like Linkin PArk. They're one of the few modern bands i actually DO enjoy listening to. So when I saw a copy of Live in Texas, i was more than a little disappointed. If you're a big fan of the band, then the part that you're fans of-the music-is excellent. Sound quality is amazing, and the band sounds excellent live. The combination of all the members fits together exactly like on the CD. However, if you like the music i think you're better off just buying a CD.The video did nothing short of bore me. I would have turned it off if it weren't for the music. The cameraman didn't really seem to know how to do this, as the camera seems to feel its a good idea to stay on the lead singer and only the lead singer. What about the guitarists? The DJ guy? Well, he does get a bit of time. But worst of all was how the lead singer didn't really do anything. He just stood and sang. No on-stage antics or anything. He ran around a little, but that's really the extent. Also was the slow motion effect. I don't mind slow motion...until now. They used it at bad times. It made me wonder what they were thinking. What i found funny was when they were trying to incite a mosh pit. They wanted maybe 30 feet by 30 feet...i think they got 30 people in the end to join. That was probably the best part of this (after the music of course), and was certainly the only part i remember.

Linkin Park Live In Texas is the best thing since sliced bread. if you haven't heard it then you don't know what you are missing. not only are the beats cool but if you have listened to Meteore then you can even sing along with Linkin Park because you would know all the songs. the best songs for me are Track 5: Runaway and Track 8: Pushing Me Away. Chester just sounds so good and Mike is also the best but the band would be nothing without Brad, Phoenix and Joe. the worst track to listen to is Crawling because it's the crowd that sings the song with Chester and it just sounds like one big mistake put all together. if you haven't got the CD or the DVD then you had better go out and get before it is too late because u don't know what you are missing out on. LINKIN PARK ROX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should get all the other CD's as well cause they all ROCK!!!!

Linkin park has done some great things in the past. from music videos to music in general. but you haven't seen their true side - sometimes. This concert took place during the 2003 sanitarium tour. linkin park was touring with Limp bizkit, metallica, the deftones, and mudvayne. and as it turned out, everyone had fun during the concert.but here's a fair warning for all of you people with kids who like linkin park. there are numerous times chester says the F-word. of course, it's all censored, but at the end of the song "a place for my head", chester raises the middle finger and says "what the F***? yeah!" so keep out from that. they didn't censor him calling the audience number one with his finger.overall, linkin park is great, and i expect them to do great in the future.10/10
