This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Highly Overrated But Still Good
Good movie but grossly overrated
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Don't be alarmed by the title. I'm not talking about the vintage bushes. Being an Indian, I have seen an older Indian movie which shares plot similarities with this movie, however that one is an ethical, family value teaching movie. For those interested, its called- Bawarchi (1972).This movie was a softcore porn combined with a potential script. A lady, acquaintance of the mistress of the house, just emerges out of the blue asking for just a place to live in their house, and eventually ends up ridding the dysfunctional family of their relationship problems. Shauna O'Brien happens to be that unknown angel and I was left stumped with the way she played her role. Absolutely charming and talented she is. Griffin and Lisa were bangin' hot. Burke and Will were good with their roles and kept me interested in the movie, despite my impressions and presumptions of it being another crap B-grade movie. Overall, the story was very well and I would love to give it a go again sometime. This movie gets an 8 from me.
This cult steamy soft core flick has aired for many times on Skinemax and many Latin American cable channels. I had the chance to first watch it on cable years ago and to this day, it's one of the best erotic thrillers I've watched. It has everything: a sexy and interesting plot, hot women, hot sex scenes, and likable characters. You can't go wrong if Lisa Boyle, Shauna O'Brien, and Griffin Drew are in the same movie. I'm a huge fan of Shauna O'Brien but I must admit that Lisa Boyle OWNED this movie. The woman is fantastic. She's hot, extremely beautiful, and is a delight to watch her sex scenes. She's wild! This movie is famous (or infamous?) for it's lesbian sex scenes and for Lisa Boyle's sex scene in the car. Check out Shauna's sex scenes; she's the best. No one like her could do lesbian soft core porn like Mrs. O'Brien. Also, her sex scene with the father is memorable. I expected more sex from Shauna but well she delivers expectations on the sex factor. She goes to bed with the step-mom and father, and tongue kisses the daughter and the song. She's a naughty friend! I enjoyed her scenes because if she didn't have sex, she would wear the sexiest outfits (spectacular mini dresses, tight jeans, etc.).Watch this movie if you appreciate soft core flicks. This is for sure, one of the best of all time. Buy this one on DVD. But be sure that it's the unrated version. Enjoy! Plenty of sex for all tastes!
Edward Herman movie features a decent story line involving a disfunctional family caught up in the non-communication syndrome common to families where the husband has re-married to a younger woman who is rejected by the teenage daughter. A bit over played and under acted but saved by the sage advice (and liberal sexuality) of the "heroine", Elke played convincingly by the enticing Shauna O'Brien. Griffen Drew is delectable as Linda, the put-upon new wife, while Lisa Boyle is her usual vixen-like self as the rejecting daughter. The sex scenes are tasteful and erotic but lack emotion and passion, as is so often the case in this genre of soft core films. Still the morale fiber is kind of unique and the ending holds a bit of interest as everything comes together and the future looks considerably brighter for all concerned.
The director Holzman reveals he is a child of the 60's where "Make love not war" was a catchphrase. The overall theme of this film is that tensions between warring parties can be solved by getting some action. With this in mind and an impressive cast, this film caught our attention at the Eye Candy Hall of Fame. First of all it stars Griffin Drew (2nd team All-Century). Other actors of interest are Shauna O'Brien (as Elke--the friend) and Lisa Boyle. As a public service announcement, Ms. Boyle's scenes are quite tame and there are better films out there to display her true abilities. We don't know if this was intentional or not because she plays a teenage girl and the producers may have feared it would be bordering on kiddie porn. All we can say is that no girls at our high schools came close to being as mature as Ms. Boyle's stature. The good part is that Ms. Drew and Ms. O'Brien make up for this omission and beyond (the hot tub scene).
