Rahul Seth is a dashing young millionaire who believes he is "western" enough to rebel against his mother and grandmother. They are not too keen about his Caucasian girlfriend Kimberly who, to make matters worse, is a pop star. Before you can say "karmic intervention," Kimberly dies in a freak accident and Rahul is devastated. Instead of allowing him to mourn in peace, Rahul's mother sees the opportunity she's been waiting for. She threatens to call off his sister's wedding unless he finds himself a "nice Indian girl." Rahul enlists the services of Sue, a fiercely independent escort whom he believes to be Hispanic, and therefore not "married" to the conventions taught to young Indian women. With a wink in her eye, Sue accepts the deal to pose as his Indian bride-to-be. She needs the money and having never been a fan of the typical Indian male, she feels her heart is safe. The charade begins....

The first thing I notice is the appealing subtle two-toned colour scheme and style of this undeservedly obscure short fantasy film, which does a really fantastic job of authentically giving it the appearance of one of those grainy old turn-of-the-century silent era films. The heady undertones of this mesmerisingly surreal and brutally sensual fantasy are astounding. It begins so peacefully and serene and gradually just goes crazy. The scene depicts the archetypal personification of female sexuality and grace in the form of a beautiful dancing wood nymph, and against her is a grimacing and lecherous version of Pan who is quite taken with her ballet-like movements and over the course of the film grows more vicious and demonic with lust as he becomes aroused - and this Pan is massively phallicised, and the masturbation of his obscenely over-sized member which is almost laughable in its outrageous lewdity, is extremely explicit, and again although it's kind of silly in design and not realistic enough to be all that appealing, is definitely not one to watch if you're of a delicate prudish disposition and are bothered by the rude imagery and tone, and it certainly isn't something you'd want to expose the little brats to! Anyway, he eventually pounces on her and uh, forgive my crudeness but for lack of a better word, he f***s her to death as his freakish phallus impales her and emerges out of her navel, she sheds a single tear of blood, and then it ends rather abruptly. And all of it is, pretty needless to say, quite harsh, but to me very appealing and oddly alluring little vision of the destruction and defilement of peace purity and innocence... I just love it, I eat it up, it's the most amazingly offencive work! It is kind of nothing more than a brief and freaky take on old Pagan myths and fairy tales, but I enjoy the visceral eroticness and the way it pushes the boundaries of taste and gender roles to reach a shocking climax, and it has such a rich and enchanting spirit of fantasy and danger to it, and it's just so nasty and darkly delicious... So give this tale of deadly lurid lust in the deep dark woods a go, it's sure to raise an eyebrow!
