Surprisingly incoherent and boring
So much average
The acting in this movie is really good.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
I have watched Warren Millers movies for years now. I love them. This I would have to say is my favorite right after, another movie in the series, Playground. I recommend watching this movie if you are trying to get pumped up for the winter months. Even if you don't ski or snowboard this is fun to watch to listen to the great music, peoples stories, and see beautiful places. I have met some of my best friends at the movie tours and skied and snowboarded every season after with them. If you have adventurous teens rent this and they will maybe thing your the cool parent.
