So much average
I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
I saw this movie at AOF film festival while I was visiting Las Vegas. The crowd all approached the director at the end of the movie to congratulate him on an outstanding film. After speaking to the director himself, what shocked me was his ability to put together such a high-quality film with an extremely low budget, gathering support from his own friends and family, each molded and directed by Mr. Hirschberg to play an excellent role in the film.Counterfeiters didn't fail to leave me on the edge of my seat, as I even screamed out during one of the many exciting turning points in the film. The ending was outstanding and unexpected. The drama/thriller was well acted, and very well written. And on top of it all, I found myself caring about what happened to the characters and their well-being. Definitely a must-see!
