This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

I was just recently talking to a friend about this movie, but he didn't seem to know what I was talking about. So I tried finding it on DVD and no luck there either. The only option I've come across is VHS and as if anyone watches VHS tapes anymore. The fact that this movie isn't on DVD, (and that there's no comments to support this movie) can only tell me a few things. Either no one remembers it, no one really saw it, or no one cares. This was one of my favourite movies as a kid, and the second movie was even more fun than the first. Three kids kicking ass left right and center, with really lame jokes that could only be used in an 80's Kung Fu movie and get away with it. The movie was so much fun to watch when I was younger, I don't remember the plot at all though to be honest. Which is why I'd love to own it on DVD. So if anyone else remembers these 2 movies, spread the word! lets get Young Dragons 1 an 2 on DVD for the sake of our children!!!!

Funny movie! Very rare, but if you come across it be sure to buy/rent. There's a point where the fat kid beats a guy with a strand of sausages! I watched it way back when I was about nine years old, and loved it. Fighting is obviously some-what cheesy, but seeing three little kids (one being fairly chubby) kick the head off these syndicate thugs is pretty entertaining, I must say! If you're strongly into martial arts movies, you might want to buy or rent this.. The fighting isn't exactly Bruce Lee material, but for three little kids, they can go. There's a point in the movie when they're at McDonald's, and they scream at the waiter to bring them food, and being country boys they don't realize you have to go to the counter to order it yourself.. Yeah, sounds stupid.. but watch it and you'll see..

One night I started to watch this movie but thought it was stupid. The next night I had nothing else to watch, so I decided to give it another shot and after viewing more found it to be GREAT!I do not care for comedies very much (few make me laugh), but, even though this one did not make me "bust a gut", I found it to be quite amusing. I just had to get past the first somewhat boring 25 minutes of it and then it comes alive!I thought 3 ninjas was funny, but now I understand that it was a take off of this Chinese movie (dubbed in English) and I must say this movie is much better! It is original and full of action and fake/funny violence.Three boys who have always lived in the country run away and find themselves in the big city for the first time. They have many misconceptions, for example: They think that a stoplight is a dragon and bathroom stalls (in a womens bathroom) are holding innocent prisoners. Also the people in the city misinterpret the boys actions/intentions as well.
