Veteran police Xu Guozhu, Cui Tiejun, and Pan Jianghai held a remarkable record during times of war. Once the walking manifestation of justice and guardians of the people, they've now settled for office tasks as they aged and younger officers such as Lin Nan began to take over fieldwork. And yet they remain unsettled... Before long, the bureau of economic offence investigation receives a financial fraud case that could only be solved with Xu, Cui, and Pan's valor and experience. The three avuncular fighters of justice, in joint force, reinstate their former positions and embark on an investigation of the earth-shattering criminal case, which soon guides them towards a major drug-dealing case that has remainedunsolved for twenty years.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
