The Worst Film Ever
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
I wonder how can a person give positive review to this movie. There is no story. From beginning to end there is nothing to enjoy. Songs are good, other than that its a full nonsense movie.
Worst ever movie of Shahid Kapur , Pankaj Kapur, and others . Go and watch this movie only if you have time & money to waste. And can keep aside your brain to absorb any nonsense that will be thrown at you .Me and my fiancée had gone to watch this movie and we couldn't stand it for more than 40 minutes. So take your chances to test your patience!!Trust me you'll need loads of it!! BIG NO for the less tolerant junta! I was expecting better work from the father son duo. Sheer disappointment is all you get after watching this. Shahid was looking his smashing best , but besides that there isn't anything to look forward to. Alia in bikini may be another attraction but that lasts for some micro seconds :P , not good enough a motivation. To add characters are loosely done, weirdest of acting by Mr. Sanjay Kapur :| and a few others. There is no story , there is nothing besides a few good locations.
This movie is a proof that Bollywood is running out of ideas. I didn't expect such an awkward movie from the 'Queen' Director Vikas Bahl. Poor concept of romance and fake looking acting is all I have seen in this movie. After acting in 'Haider', how did Shahid accepted to act in such a quirky movie. The movie was nothing but a mess in itself. I had expectations from this movie but it was a let down. I wasted my money as well as 144 minutes of time for watching this worthless movie. Accept Shahid fans, I don' t think anybody would like such a movie. This was the worst movie of Bollywood I have seen in 2015. The only thing I liked in the movie was Pankaj Kapoor's acting. Except that, everything in the movie was totally ridiculous. I would go with 1.5/5 for this movie.
Shaandaar is a disaster! It's magnitude is somewhere close to 8. The remnants are Alia, Shahid and Pankaj Kapur, in that sequence. Alia is getting boxed in the roles she has done in the past. Here she lacks the passion seen in 2 States. Nevertheless, she's a gem that has sparkled but has yet to dazzle! Shahid is quirky and does his job well. The pair, Shahid and Alia, are amazing to watch together. They do bring the entertainment value to the movie, albeit deficient to make it a roaring success. Pankaj Kapur has fought a loosing battle. This not only shows from his overacting, thanks to, and from the fact that his role lacks the punch that an accomplished actor can deliver. The sheer lack of imagination (or too much of it) by the story/ dialogue writers is glorified in the movie with every passing moment. Some songs are catchy and can be watched for free on YouTube. That is what you should do. The 2 votes are for: 1. Songs/ Dance/ Catchy tunes. 2. Alia and Shahid.
