Galaxina is a lifelike, voluptuous android who is assigned to oversee the operations of an intergalactic Space Police cruiser captained by incompetent Cornelius Butt. When a mission requires the ship's crew to be placed in suspended animation for decades, Galaxina finds herself alone for many years, developing emotions and falling in love with the ship's pilot, Thor.

A Disappointing Continuation
it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Blistering performances.
Low budget "Barbarella" knock-off manages to be watchable, but is nowhere as funny as it thinks it is. Dorothy Stratten plays the sexy robot Galaxina on a ship of space intergalactic cops patrolling the universe. While the crew is asleep, Galaxina reprograms herself to be more human. Romantic entanglements ensure. Later their ship is sent to recover a mysterious crystal on a planet that resembles the old west, which is a goofily entertaining of genre mash-up. The film mostly wants to operate as a sci-fi spoof of "Star Trek," "Alien," any number of other films in the vein of Mel Brooks, but it's nowhere as clever as Brooks or a Zucker/Abrams/Zucker parody film. Also, the film suffers from being too overt of a sex comedy, which worked much better in "Barbarella," where director Roger Vadim kept the film sexy but also somewhat innocent, where in "Galaxina" it just feels leering and creepy. Despite it's many deficiencies, Stratten demonstrates real star power in a ridiculous film, much like Jane Fonda in "Barbarella," and as bad as this film is, it did make me wish Stratten had gotten to make more films.
Nothing funny here to me and I liked Spaceballs! It took them dang near 10 minutes before anything was really said - it mainly showed the outside of a ship circling an asteroid, a chick in a blonde wig in a chair and two dumb "space police" dudes, one in a cowboy hat the other on a rowing machine, oh and something about a Captain Butt, golly gee that's funny - NOT! What is suppose to be funny about this film? I acquired this monstrosity in the Sci-Fi Invasion 50-film pack. I consider this nothing more than a filler film - just something to throw into the pack to make sure there are 50 movies as promised. It's one of the worst films in the pack and NOT a so bad it's good film either... just a lame stupid unfunny film.1/10
Poor old Dorothy Stratten: not only was her life tragically cut short when her homicidal husband took it upon himself to unload a shotgun into her face, but of the few titles on her filmography, crappy comedy/sci-fi Galaxina will forever be the one she will be best remembered for.In this excruciatingly bad pulp sci-fi spoof, inspired by the likes of Star Wars and Star Trek, Stratten plays Galaxina, a robot aboard police space cruiser Infinity who falls in love with Sgt. Thor (Stephen Macht), a member of the crew. Writer/director William Sachs has the potential for a really interesting movie, but is more intent on delivering puerile gags and trashy action than exploring the complexities of his central human/machine relationship. In addition to the embarrassingly bad comedy (some gags repeated ad nauseum), the pacing of the film is absolutely dreadful, the acting is lousy and the special effects are terrible, with naff spaceship designs and thoroughly unconvincing rubber alien creatures. Thankfully, Stratten's hotness helps to ease the pain somewhat, the gorgeous Penthouse Playmate looking absolutely stunning in her tight outfits, but not even her magnificent form can prevent this from being a disastrous dud.
I saw this film on a pack of 50 films of alien invasion movies. This one did not really fit the bill, but a lot of them do not. This one at least has aliens in it, one of them did not even have that. This one seemed to be a spoof of the "Airplane variety, but while there were a couple of funny moments most of the comedy just did not work thanks to poor delivery. This is not even the casts fault, it was just poor jokes, bad timing and bad pacing. The story in this one focuses on the spaceship Infinity, basically a space police cruiser. The story seems off too, as if this was supposed to be the pilot of a television show or something in the way it played out. I figure this cannot be the case as there is a good deal of language and a topless lady. The police of this vessel are sent off to a faraway place to retrieve a stone with untold power. The place seems to have an old west feel, then they have to tackle a random biker gang and this film just does not feel like a true motion picture. The cast is not bad. I thought the captain of the ship did a relatively good job as did everyone. The jokes just did not work for the most part. Some of them did, which is why I gave this film a four, but at times jokes went on way to long. As did some scenes as the whole dude on a row machine went on forever and there was really no joke. The female is cute which aside from the occasional chuckle is about the only thing worth watching in this one. This film looks okay, the cast is okay, but for the most part none of the jokes are okay. To many swings and misses here to count. Most of the jokes were not funny or went on to long as did many of the scenes which pretty much doomed this wannabe spoof of space films. It is rather easy to watch mainly because even though for the most part it is not funny, it still was over quick.
