Good movie but grossly overrated

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

Incredible production! Vibrant, colorful and utterly amazing. What starts off as a silly-ish comedy soon turns to a spectacular, dramatic musical with stunning visuals, photography and Phantom of the Opera-like scenes - just much better!!

I love the concept of the film and it was the best 3 hours of my time watching this, story line is great and the characters shows most of the colors to the people watching.SRK and Deepika's acting were very good they project the character very well, Arjun's villainous acting makes me feel the characters evil personality. Others were even great including many various Bollywood celebrities appearing from the song number and the filmfare scene.Some of the actors being nominated in the movie should have been in more focus or maybe a bit more camera time such as Abhishek's grumbling or even Akshay Kumar's tantrum in a deleted scene portion. There was totally no time limit for this movie because the story line has no absolute fillers and it only shows that it was an amazing story ever told. The ending should have been extended on what happen to the both of the protagonist and sandy.This so far has been a great film to watch due to the colorful story line being involve so I must recommend this to millions of people :)

The songs were good. The acting? Srk same acting as usual. lots of actors come for the song "deewangi deewangi"Khiladi Returns scene of Akshay was copied from some old English advertisement.Deepika was the best thing about this movie.A bollywood debut like this is her luck(probably was chosen after the director knew she was a famous Indian tennis player's daughter, would have created more hype for the movie)Shreyas Talpade was good in his role and provides support to srk. Srk's 6 pack was over hyped and looked OK with him in that dard e disco song.Arjun is good in his role.The whole reincarnation thing is crap(makes no sense)See this moviee for the songs and deepika not for the plot.

I have seen my fair share of Bollywood movies, and was quite anxious to see this movie in particular as it was the first Hindi movie i owned on Blu-Ray, and boy did it not upset!! Watching this movie at home i was impressed, the lavish colours, beautiful sets and awesome intentional overacting!This movie is not meant for Filmfare awards, thats not why it was created. this is a sort of light-hearted black comedy that was created to entertain (even though it received 10 Filmfare award nods) i started watching this during a break from exam revision and ended up watching the whole thing, i just couldn't get enough.There are more cameo appearances than one could shake a stick at, and this made the film fun for the young or old, having family members pause the movie and trying to guess who they are is just awesomely well done and sooo captivating from Farah Khan, really brings people together, and ignites the Bollywood in you.This movie also introduces Deepika Padukone, and my gosh i could not believe this was her first movie. she was amazing, really lit up the screen when you saw how beautiful she is portraying a 70's heroine. SRK's performance and new appearance are both awesome, as hes allowed to act (and strut) his ass off, of which he does very well, and its understandable why he is crowned King Khan. all i can really say about him is "Vaah! Kya acting kar raha hai!... Vaah! Kya acting kar raha hai!"All in all this movie is fun, exciting, entertaining and a great laugh. i highly recommend viewing this on Blu-Ray and letting those lush on-screen colours EXPLODE!!
