A lovely movie for precision freaks! It is the story of a time- management speaker and his life story especially of that phase where he discovers, the hard way, that life isn't a planned schedule. It takes its own turns and twists. The lead character, played well by Ryan Reynolds, through a bizarre chaotic string of events learns the strength of love, over and above his precise calculations and plans. One of the concluding dialogues sums it all: "The most important thing about love is that we choose to give it and we choose to receive it making it the least random act in the universe. It transcends blood, it transcends betrayal and all the dirt and makes us human."The best parts of the movie that I liked are the ones where the confusion begins, him being seduced by a participant, ending up in a hospital helping a pregnant woman deliver a baby (and then she disappears), the wife getting a call about 'her' baby. The scene where he discovers that he has been sterile all his life (and mind you, he has an adorable daughter of seven), is quite amusing and touching at the same time. The conversation in the boat with his best friend trying to save him from committing suicide, while he actually is trying to shoot him is hilarious!http://www.vcastilino.blogspot.in/

Although at first, you will think about this movie's genre as being action, Chaos Theory is actually quite an entertaining movie about family and marriage, about friendship and misunderstandings. It takes up the subject of how one misunderstanding can lead to another and the consequences that follow. It tells the story of how things can change in an instant and how one little thing can be the reason for everything else happening. It's hard to tell that was this is a drama or a comedy. In my point of view it blends the both genres in a mediocre way. It is a great movie. Everything is so real that you can relate with each and every event in the movie. Ryan Reynolds is perfectly cast as obsessive organizer Frank. The rest of the cast were also great. And together with the fantastic soundtrack they made this movie into an entertainment and a worthwhile experience. Emily Mortimer played great as the wife and Matreya Fedor was great as the daughter. Together they made a family worth watching. I think it is a great movie with a good message of letting loose and living your life. They teach you that you shouldn't interrupt conversations and you should listen to what the other person has to say before you add something. Chaos Theory is above average. It is unusual, funny at times, emotional at times and scores high marks for its search into the dramatic side of life changing events. Definitely it is better than what one might expect. I give this movie seven to ten and it deserves to be watched. I am sure that you'll enjoy very much and never be bored in any minute of this movie. Some of the scenes will be unforgettable for you. Highly recommended. Have a nice time when watching.

Hi I am Halil from TURKEY.I have watched this movie in our class with my friends thanks to our teacher. When I started to watch this movie I thought that it is a boring movie because of its name and something will be mentioned about chaos and its theory.Inherently I guest it is a science-fiction movie but then I recognized that it's not. From the beginning of the movie to the end of it I really enjoyed and could not find anything that makes me bored of watching it and I am sure that anybody can not be bored. Acting is awesome in movie especially while watching Frank Allen(Ryan Reynolds) you can easily understand what I mean.Of course not only Frank's performance is great in movie but also Susan(Emily Mortimer),Buddy (Stuart Townsend)and other characters. Everything in the movie begins (for Frank) with being 10 minutes late to ferry .Yes, just 10 minutes .This may surprise the people who have not watched the movie but after watching the movie I am sure that they will understand me easily.I think the events that Frank has in the movie are the general meaning of chaos. While watching this work, I easily imagined myself in the screenplay because there are some scenes that make you put yourselves in to their shoes but honestly I would not want to be.In the movie I think there are some scenes that can be eliminated. In these eliminative scenes I get confused for example in the beginning of the movie there is a conversation between Ryan and his son- in-love.I could not understand what the meaning of this scene. When we look at the movie generally the characters in the movie are good organized.I really liked the movie and I will recommend it to all my friends to watch it..It does worth watching..

I am Cansu Ay from Çanakkale. Before i watched the "Chaos Theory", i thought it was attractive movie. The movie began with a wedding. But what was that? The groom was so coward of getting marry. He was afraid of being a married man. In that time, bride's father talked with groom. He told him that a long story. And story started…Tthere was married couples( Frank and Susan) for 7 years in the movie. Firstly, you think that everything is on the way.Everything is very nice. But one morning, Frank was late for his conference because of his wife, Susan. That situation was awful. Because Frank was so punctual person. He was very angry to her wife,Susan. When Frank went out for his conference, he had some troubles.Firstly, he caught the steamer. In the end, he went to conference. And then he would stay in a hotel room for that night. But there was a silly girl. She was drunk and she wanted to have a nice night with him. But Frank didn't want to it. And he ran away. While he was going to home, he came across a pregnant woman. And she was about to get birth. Then the unwanted situations went on. But Frank learned a reality in the hospital and he was disappointed. He went to home and asked to his wife if it was true or not. Susan was surprised and said to him something... Frank left her alone and went. He thought some plans for killing himself, Susan and another man. But he could not do. There was a little daughter of him. He was a father.I liked this movie. But this movie reminded me again that " Trust No One , Deceive Every One". This world is so cruel.Sometimes you do not want to believe some bad realities. But life.. You do not what will happen.
