I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
2 overly imaginative pranksters named George and Harold hypnotize their principal into thinking he's a ridiculously enthusiastic, incredibly dimwitted superhero named Captain Underpants. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie has some pretty good animation and the voice acting wasn't that bad either but the storyline takes alot of time to flow and it's not that interesting either i'm afraid and i was expecting a bit more especially by how great the trailer was and the film just looked like a bunch of gags and characters put up together. (5.3/10)
Anybody looking for something simple to watch on Netflix, or are looking for a new animated movie to show their child/ren, this is the film to do it. This film was clearly met for children, but as an adult it's still entertaining to watch and sit through.
Just loved this film from start to finish a joy ride from opening credits to the end please can we have another
This is not a good movie by any means. The characters are pretty annoying and the animation does not work, despite it trying to pander to the original comics. The voice actors are just unbearable, and you just don't care about the dumb plot. It's not 'The Nut Job' bad but still quite bad in itself.
